First: What is that blue rubberish coated washer for?

Second: Is it normal for there to be about an 1/8 of an inch of play foreward and back along the crank? (It slides that distance foreward and back.)

Third: No Glowplug??? What should I run....

Werks Questions - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 03-07-2007

the blue washer is a dust shield for the front bearing it is a spare. the play is normal that will go away once the flywheel is on just make sure u pull it forward when u put that stuff on there, all motors have this. Plug OD99 MC9 RB6 medium plugs mostly

Werks Questions - FreeRideFrosty - 03-07-2007

Excellent, I was a bit worried. Last NEW motor I had was an OS .18 a while back. Thanks.

Werks Questions - FreeRideFrosty - 03-07-2007

Also... how do you know when to change that sheild? Is there a range where they are going bad or no?

Werks Questions - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 03-07-2007

if it gets phucked up somehow then change it

Werks Questions - FreeRideFrosty - 03-07-2007

Gotcha. :-)

Werks Questions - Mr. Tune - 03-07-2007

You'll know when to change the seal when the motor starts leaking fuel from the front bearing.

About what I figured. Didn't know if people were having them go out consistantly at a certain point or not though. And Mike, you reccomended a few plugs, which would/do you run?

Werks Questions - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 03-07-2007

i run a turbo head button lol

Werks Questions - UE-Maxx - 03-07-2007

Mike, have you noticed any advantages of switching to the turbo? I was thinking about it when I read Tom Wolf switched over.

Dan, run the Werks 2013 pipe.

Werks Questions - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 03-07-2007

i got a little more run time, seems like its a bit easier to tune also

Werks Questions - FreeRideFrosty - 03-07-2007

I already have a JP3. If you were to pick a plug to run with my motor and Werks 30% which would it be?

Werks Questions - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 03-07-2007

Werks Questions - rocco79 - 03-07-2007

Werks Questions - UE-Maxx - 03-07-2007

Werks Questions - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 03-07-2007

Werks Questions - UE-Maxx - 03-07-2007

Werks Questions - Mr. Tune - 03-08-2007

I run the od99 on mine. Good plug and long lasting.

Werks Questions - Tex - 03-08-2007

Are the OD99's easier to get now, they seemed hard to get a while back.

Werks Questions - FreeRideFrosty - 03-08-2007

Cool, Thanks guys. I'll probably order up a few plugs and some stick packs later this week. Need to order the clutch now. :-)

Werks Questions - Mr. Tune - 03-08-2007

OD99s are easy to get now. I get mine through amain, but lh has them at the track too, if you're in a pinch.

Werks Questions - rocco79 - 03-08-2007

Yeah the shortage has been over for awhile
