What foams do you use since the switches come with regular ones? and use the clay switches right? The Official Mugen Thread - hansarvin - 09-28-2007 Quote:switches with molded foamThere ya go and I'm assuming that he's talking about panther molded foams The Official Mugen Thread - hansarvin - 09-28-2007 Al I made your truggy set-up into a set-up sheet but my scanner's not working so I'll try and get that fixed so I can post it and then you can see if I've got it 100% correct or not. Just thought I'd try and make it a little easier to read. The Official Mugen Thread - allan42r - 09-28-2007 well id like to get the droop numbers down before that, its very important on how the car corners and on the truck being so heavy and big it transfers weight really easy, too much front droop and all the weight transfers to the rear and unloads the front tires, tires ballon, too much rear droop and the car or truck will transfer too much to the front under breaking and push getting into the corner and the chassy will roll too much overloading the front outer wheel/shock. the car can run alot of droop and it willbe easy to correct on jumping whoops ect but sucks cornering. have you ever seen offroad trucks on tv like when they start a baha race on pavement they roll ALOT in the corners and lift the inner front wheel , slow cornering, but when they get out in the rough they go like hell. The Official Mugen Thread - allan42r - 09-28-2007 the foams im using now for the buggy are the werks med. if you cant get them use the prolines. need a molded foam for these lowpro indoor tires, on the outdoor like the k2 i just use the stock ones. if your on k2 tires the track is more than likely not smooth like the indoor. on the truck last year i used proline molded and i hear some used the ofna orange molded. havenot seen a panther molded foam hold up yet. The Official Mugen Thread - allan42r - 09-30-2007 rocco when you comin back to the track? |
