Official Thunder Tiger ST-1 Thread - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 08-28-2006 they are both good motors, u cant go wrong with either The steering mod basically u have to get a set of hot bodies tie rods, because they are longer. then u mount the actual link to the servo saver arm with the standoff part of the ball away from the plastic. Cut the end off of the slider so it doesnt hit the arm. Then u need a servo horn that is longer to give u the extra throw. there is a link at the beginning of this thread to it Official Thunder Tiger ST-1 Thread - kevinF - 08-28-2006 hey mike can you show me how to do it next itme i see you?? I have the upgrade parts installed for it allready right?? Official Thunder Tiger ST-1 Thread - Casketman - 08-28-2006 I cant picture that. Then again I dont know the truck that well yet(have yet to do my homework). Official Thunder Tiger ST-1 Thread - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 08-28-2006 kevin goto the link at the beginning of the thread im sure dave posted it. you need a longer tie rod which u dont have Official Thunder Tiger ST-1 Thread - kevinF - 08-28-2006 k let me try and find the link Official Thunder Tiger ST-1 Thread - kevinF - 08-28-2006 is it the link thats on the grid? Wants a name and password before the page will even load..what a joke Official Thunder Tiger ST-1 Thread - kevinF - 08-28-2006 ok thanks mike Official Thunder Tiger ST-1 Thread - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 08-28-2006 its a differetn forum casketman, just like this one u need a password, except now they charge for that one lol Official Thunder Tiger ST-1 Thread - Toughtrax - 08-28-2006 Shouldn't you be in bed by now? JFWY Official Thunder Tiger ST-1 Thread - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 08-29-2006 The toe links needed are 80mm long. Hot Bodies LSP rods trimmed to 80mm, or Ofna CRT rods are already 80mm long, but cost a tiny bit more. And keep in mind, adding a longer arm on the servo is the same as making it a little faster, and a little weaker, so make sure you have a strong servo if you go this way. Official Thunder Tiger ST-1 Thread - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 08-29-2006 the 80mm is for the truggy. And if you dont use the longer arm, u wont gain anything Official Thunder Tiger ST-1 Thread - Toughtrax - 08-29-2006 For all you guys that are into the TTR stuff you might find this little bit interesting here is a link check it out. http://www.truggyracers.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=7553&st=0&#entry67100 Official Thunder Tiger ST-1 Thread - Casketman - 08-29-2006 I am not one to really like CF towers.
