G why didnt u run in the A main??

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - RCDad - 01-30-2006

It was a lot of fun Sunday, I got to meet Tex and see Chris again, and it took awhile before I realized the girl I was talking to was from St. Louis. To bad her truck wasen't running it would have been cool to see her out there racing. She said she's taken trophies home before.

Sorry for that one guy (forget your screen name) that did not get his transponder during that first qualifier, hopefully next time will go better.

cemeb4dk Wrote:Good day racing. Seems liek I missed alot of BS in this thread. Glad I missed it.

It was good to break free from Daddy duties for the day.

Rich thanks for putting up with all the smack talk all day 8^)

LOL George, anytime dude. Good to see you again. All the smack talk made the day go by alot faster. !!!

Man I had nothing but problems with the LSP. Flame-out after flame-out !!!

Yeah I had fun racing! I could have did better but whatever, all in fun... The lake of the Ozark guys came up here and took 1st and 2nd in the MT a-main....Good job Lake guys!

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - RCDad - 01-30-2006

That guy sitting next to you did that well? That's great!

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Tex - 01-30-2006

not sure what guy your talking about but the lake were sitting about 10 feet from me. The guy sitting directly next to me was RamMaxxSTL from the showme board and he raced his Mugen 1/8 buggy.

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - RCDad - 01-30-2006

Oh, I knew he was from St. Louis, I thought you may have been talking about him.

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Tex - 01-30-2006

Next time I see ya at the track rc dad, I'm helping you with your alignment (toe/camber) and I'm putting a set of my tires on your truck for you to try for a heat (or the whole day)

You would do sooooo much better with a truck that was setup right. Right now you can't help but be all over the place because of your settings. We'll fix that.

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - RCDad - 01-30-2006

Thanks, hopefully my truggy will be ready next time we meet. It has dirt bonez. I was hoping to catch Tune at the track some day, I think the Savage could use some of his expertise.

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Tex - 01-30-2006

If you want the scoop on racing a savy, talk to rocco.... super nice dude and will help you with anything you need. As far as general setup, I can help with that. Smile

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - RCDad - 01-30-2006

I meant with tuning, I think the k4.6 could use some expert tweaks.

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Tex - 01-30-2006

i can tune the crap out of any nitro motor. (unless the motor has a defect)

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - cemeb4dk - 01-30-2006

Like I said early had a ball.

I just wish they ran all the lowers first then the a mains. Reason being I came in second in the B main, so I won a bump spot. But I had to contiinue running because the A was right afterwards, so I came into the pits and to refuel to start the next race and my truck died, the clutch was toasted.

Now I know its my fault the clutch toasted, but you feel good that you got the bump up the A and then you cant run, because you had no time to check things over.

Like I said this is not a complaint just an observation. Next time I will just qualify for the A main. LOL

A good observation, too. I wondered the same thing the one and only time we raced. The A qualifiers are all tuned up and batt's charged and here come the bump-ups limping right into another race. I guess it's gas it up and pray they all crash or break.

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Michowski - 01-30-2006

a good battery pack and you can go all day running non stop for only 25 bucks. I gots me a 2600mah battery and i charge it after about 3 races. Im also using airtronics servo's so there not digital and im sure that helps me some as well.

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - cemeb4dk - 01-30-2006

Its not a matter of batteries or anything like that my batteries can go all day. Its just the litle things, look for loose screws, chekc the clutch etc.

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 01-30-2006

Me it's battery and damned pivot ball caps (Revo). I really need to setscrew those before next time.

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - snakebite46 - 01-30-2006

Yeah that sucked George. YOu looked good out there.

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - RCDad - 01-30-2006

I got clipped at the end of the 2nd qualifier and my upper a-arm broke at the adjustment. I ordered some FLM arms this morning.

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Michowski - 01-30-2006

hey how come you didnt say hi rcdad? You know my truck.

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - RCDad - 01-30-2006

The only truck I ever recognize is UEMaxx for some reason. I'll get better at recognizing you guys. It took me awhile to realize Chris was Chris Smile

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - rocco79 - 01-30-2006

That blows George. I agree all c's and b's should run first.

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Michowski - 01-30-2006

i drive the greevo, I was the guy who had a horrible 3rd gualifier and I qualified 2nd overall before the mains. Look for the green revo next time at the track cuz il be driving it along with a hellfire now.

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - slim - 01-30-2006

usually at bigger races the mains alternate truck, bug, truck, bug.

Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Michowski - 01-30-2006

during big race days theres usually tons of time to get your stuff in order for all your races. I know at the pro series round 2 there was like 2 and a half hours between each qualifiers and like an hour between c main and b main and then a main so bigger races give you lots more time to get your stuff check out and fixed if necessary.
