Seriously, I thought I saw 60's for Sat. Don't know. Just so it's not raining. Engines will be hard to start. Just keep running once you get it going! That's where starter boxes kick butt over pullstarts. October Berwyn Bash! - Mr. Tune - 10-25-2005 I saw high 50s for sat. and low 60s for sun. October Berwyn Bash! - firesprink281 - 10-25-2005 i saw 50s and 60s also October Berwyn Bash! - SixVi6-Camaro - 10-25-2005 http://weather.wgntv.com/US/IL/Chicago.html?main=1 Saying 62 on sat and 75 on sunday but I'm sure in the morning of the bash it will be chilly. October Berwyn Bash! - Tex - 10-25-2005 you can warm your truck up in the floorboard of my car if needed October Berwyn Bash! - UE-Maxx - 10-25-2005 60 wouldn't be that bad as long there is no wind. October Berwyn Bash! - Michowski - 10-25-2005 il be bringing my little heater again for those that have seen it at the race. It will heat up your engines good enough so they can start. Also keeps your hands toasty warm to if your not driving. October Berwyn Bash! - thenewguy821 - 10-25-2005 I've got a Heat gun, and a small power inverter (If I can find the inverter). As for the fuel, it is actually better to store fuel cold. October Berwyn Bash! - Mr. Tune - 10-25-2005 Hopefully I'll remember to bring an old hair drier. My TM doesn't like to start easy when it's like 45 outside, lol. October Berwyn Bash! - UE-Maxx - 10-25-2005 Quote:Hopefully I'll remember to bring an old hair drier. Where are you going to plug it in? October Berwyn Bash! - thenewguy821 - 10-25-2005 There will be a couple AC power inverters floating around. October Berwyn Bash! - Ponch - 10-25-2005 He'll power it off of a starter box batt...lol Actually, BRILLIANT! I can be so smart sometimes, just use starterbox batts! October Berwyn Bash! - Mr. Tune - 10-25-2005 I'll have an inverter with me . October Berwyn Bash! - UE-Maxx - 10-25-2005 Oh October Berwyn Bash! - squirrel - 10-26-2005 doesn't reaqlly matter what temp it is i'll be there!!! as for the motors starting 2 words BUMP BOX. October Berwyn Bash! - MyJeep - 10-26-2005 We should have a nice weather on the day as long as not windy. Heat your engine up on the grill man! October Berwyn Bash! - PoPRC - 10-26-2005 Ugh I got a pullstart. But I usually get it started pretty quick. The only problem I run into is my engine has to be drained of ARO before it will start for some reason. I am thinking of switching to Marvel Mystery oil as my ARO. I'm thinkin it has a better ignition point. October Berwyn Bash! - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 10-26-2005 PoPRC Wrote:Ugh I got a pullstart. But I usually get it started pretty quick. Ok I'll give that a shot, I am gonna pick up some more glow plugs. You guys think a full gallon of fuel is enough to get through the bash? October Berwyn Bash! - thenewguy821 - 10-26-2005 Keep in mind, ARO is just OIL. There is no fuel content, therefore, it must be taken out in order to start the engine. There should only be a couple drops in the engine, so just priming the engine SHOULD push out the oil, and bring fuel to the engine. If your engine Hydro-locks from the ARO, you are using too much. Just put 2-3 drops in the glow plug hole, turn the engine over a couple times to circulate the oil, then replace the plug. October Berwyn Bash! - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 10-26-2005 This was prolly brought up 400 posts back but, are we going to have a freq clip system/board? October Berwyn Bash! - maxximum_44 - 10-26-2005 I believe tripGGG is going to handle it! I'm bringing a gallon but I suspect I'll only get through a few tanks by the time I get to meeting and talking to all the fine folks that will be there! And once the beer flows, the fuel slows. October Berwyn Bash! - squirrel - 10-26-2005 a gallon of fuel? i would hope that would be enough! i'm only bringing about 1/4 gallon with me, then again thats all i've got left! |
