I know, I need to work on a few characteristics (sp?) here and there.

Attn: RCDad - TowShen - 10-18-2005

its just somthing you got to get use to from tex....

Attn: RCDad - Ponch - 10-18-2005

He didn't mention who,
He just said it was something like "You guys need to get a life" is what made him leave.

Attn: RCDad - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 10-18-2005

Well, I can always hang out full time on the SC forum, then you guys would not have to hear about how awsum the Savage is. Ignorance is bliss...

That was one of his last posts....the Savage vs. Revo thing must really be close to his heart.

It is hard to argue opinions, because they are just opinions. And everyone has their own. You can choose to not argue, and thereby have your opinion without the clash of wills over the subject. But if arguement is what people want, they can do it all day long. Productive dialogue over a tpoic with pro and con is debate, which can be confused with arguement when pride enters into it. If I made the comment that drove him away, it was certainly not out of spite or hatred. The R vs S thread was always meant to be fun "brand loyalty" jabbing. After all, none of us owns Traxxas or HPI company (do we?, no, didn't think so...). So why be so defensive of our choices of truck, car, or buggy. Variety is the spice of life.

RCDad and his everchanging fleet of vehicles was a great poster to read, and I had hoped to, and may still someday, meet him and race on-roads. We'll look for him at the races, with his family in tow!

Who knows, maybe he will surprize everyone and bring the Savage to The Bash. I hope he does.

Attn: RCDad - grim digger - 10-20-2005

wow i thought this debate was somewhat over, sorry guys i have been away for awhile my mom died and i sort went into a loner streak
but i know all about this debate i have had my own battles on this with other r/cer's sorry to say in the end like most of you say it is personal preference i have seen savages win and seen tmaxxs revo's and a few other trucks out there win but this will always be a debate on who is better built or better hopped up rcdad your not going to win or lose the arguement because it is all on personal preference

but on a good note rcdad my alloy savage and i mean complete alloy savage from bumper to bumper i can still drop that bad boy from the 3rd floor of my building and land perfectly fine not even a bent shock ....yet

have fun guys that is and should always be your goal, racing and bashing are two totally different things dont get them mixed, becuase while at the track some of you bash and at the bash spot some of you try to race
eh but what do i know i am an old r/cer who has had to many to count and spent way to much to want to remember

Attn: RCDad - Michowski - 10-20-2005

wow sry to hear about that grim digger. I hope your doing ok for what happened. Glad to hear from you again as well. You should come out to berwyn on the 29th and just get your mind off of things and just try to have fun.
