Ahhhhh.... I've been trying and I've damn near drove myself crazy. I keep telling myself I am playing it to relax so I'm not wasting time and by the end I am so pissed...

General 1/8th scale buggy - FreeRideFrosty - 11-08-2005

Whats the secret?? I generally make it to level 7 losing one or none of the balls... Then it just goes so damn fast my mouse doesn't want to follow... what is the secret??

General 1/8th scale buggy - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 11-08-2005

I got to level 9 once

I usually try not to curve it when it gets fast just straight and not too many bounces off the walls....wait why am i telling u this Wink

General 1/8th scale buggy - Michowski - 11-08-2005

maybe if i can get a free painted body i can tell you the secret to beating george.

General 1/8th scale buggy - FreeRideFrosty - 11-08-2005

Bull... you lie!! Dirty dog... he just has no life! That is the secret. (I say it because I lose...)

General 1/8th scale buggy - Michowski - 11-08-2005

no i really know a secret to beating him.

General 1/8th scale buggy - FreeRideFrosty - 11-08-2005

Please don't say Greevo... :-)

General 1/8th scale buggy - Michowski - 11-08-2005

what does curveball have to do with greevo?

General 1/8th scale buggy - FreeRideFrosty - 11-08-2005

You said you were going to tell us a secret to beat him but you didn't tell us at what. I figured it would be some smartass RC comment instead of our off-tangent curveball talk. I just figured he was good...

General 1/8th scale buggy - Michowski - 11-08-2005

i said i would tell mike if he painted me a body, not tell everyone. Its a very well kept secret and a free body can get him the secret to beating george

General 1/8th scale buggy - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 11-08-2005

I used to run an OFNA Hyper7 PCR Pro, it was a very durable buggy. Now I'm running a Mayhem, and I love it! When you set it up (correctly) for the track you're running on, it's easy to drive, and it's fast. The car is very durable. I did manage to bend the chassis 2 times, each requiring new frames. The 1st time, I clipped a concrete wheel stop, and my Spektrum receiver reset. The 2nd time, I swapped the spektrum receiver from the Revo to the mayhem, and forgot to reset the failsafe; when the Rx battery went low, it went to the Revo's failsafe position of FULL Throttle. That 2nd one costed me nearly $200 in parts. It's back and up and running better than ever!

If you live in Illinois, parts are very easy to come by. I get everything from Horizon, when you choose to have it shipped GROUND, you'll get it NEXT day.

My first 1/8th scale buggy was a OFNA Ultra Comp 2, I wasn't sure if i wanted one and for $260 to my door RTR it was a great deal. I've gotten a good deal of enjoyment out of it as anyone who's seen me drive it at Bussewoods bash sessions can see.

I love the buggies because they are nimble, quick, supremely controllable in flight, and generally tough as nails compared to the other types of rc's. For $260 my Ultra Comp 2 was pretty tough, much more durable than my Jato, or my T-maxx (POS drivetrain).

Recently picked up a used Jammin X1cr pro roller. I think it'll be a nice upgrade but haven't had a chance to run it yet.
