I need a new motor-- - Biodragen - 01-10-2006 Yeah but at the time---track was not open to the public and mine was doing great. who knew after a gallon I would need a new motor. Also I just came in to some funds today to help in this area. Now you see it and now you don't. I need a new motor-- - NitroNuisance - 01-10-2006 You may have to wait for a while but I'm sure SportWeks and Horizon Hobby will take care of you. Send them your motor and they should be prepared to get you back up and running. Hundreds of RTR kits sold mean much more customer support/service. Maybe by the time you get back to LHR you will have a new .26 to break-in. I need a new motor-- - satoch - 01-10-2006 Why not go to a-main hobbies and get another Sportwerks .26 for $125? It's an amazing motor. I need a new motor-- - Obsessive R/C - 01-10-2006 Who bought the NR 528 ?? I need a new motor-- - Biodragen - 01-10-2006 That is the plan. Meanwhile I will get a new motor or one slightly used or something so I have a back up. I was even thinking on taking out my Force .26 out of my buggy and use it in the truck. For the truck I want speed and torque when I want it to have it. I feel the SW .26 is a lil sluggish IMO compared to my Force .26 in the buggy but then again that is in the buggy which will repond different than in the truck. I gots some things in the works I need a new motor-- - satoch - 01-10-2006 A .26 isn't legal in a buggy. The SW .26 sluggish?!!! Wow, that's one thing I never thought I'd hear about that motor. Lean the low end a little maybe. I need a new motor-- - SixVi6-Camaro - 01-10-2006 I'd pick up a non pull start 528. I have one in my truggy and it hauls. It may cost more than many of the RTR type motors but its simple to tune, incredibly reliable and long lasting, and a stupid amount of torque. I need a new motor-- - satoch - 01-10-2006 Without question the 528 is an amazing motor. From what I've seen though it's just not necessary for %98 of the people. If someone is burning up a motor in 2 gals. they'll burn up a 528 also. For that price one could have 2 SW .26 motors. Besides, races are not won on the straights and the SW .26 will easily hold it's own in the torque and top speed depts. A 528 MAY have a 1-2' lead max at the end of the straights at LH but that's it. I need a new motor-- - Michowski - 01-10-2006 in many cases it may come down to that small lead to win a race. When i was pitting for sonny at the newberries race he only won by that much so right there is were a motor can determin if you win or not. I now most of the time thats not gonna be the case but having that backup insurance on a fast motor will sure make you feel ready for anything. I need a new motor-- - MX_KEVIN - 01-10-2006 I also think that sw .26 has alot of punch for the money. In one of the heats sunday, I let Gosh by right before the back straight :o: and the sw.26 had no problem keeping up and almost running over his Jammin. That would of been bad  Sticking with him on the rest of the track is another story I need a new motor-- - rocco79 - 01-11-2006 Guys at hardestys i thought the same thing about my 24/7pro in my lsp (Its almost the same engine as a sw .26). Every time Matt Gosch lapped me i would punch it down the straight at the same time as him and his modded B7 (which is a smaller .21 lets not forget!!!!) could NOT pull on my bargin price tawianese motor in the straights.... Where a high end motor or one thats modded makes the differnce in a race is the small amount of room they need to power a truggy over a jump or how fast they can make a large amount of power to snap a truck through a series of tight challanging turns. If you only need 3 ft to launch over a double and i need 6 with my less expensive RTR engine who do you think will be able to conceistantly cut a closer faster line????? Thats how races are won...
