Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - destroy_my_revo_15 - 01-16-2006 i was doing pretty good for the most part but then i couldnt keep my engine running and i went through 2 plugs  im pretty sure it was tuning issues. i ended up last. didnt get to finish the b-main. Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - rocco79 - 01-16-2006 I ran a 33.2 in the main but i know in quals i had a 31 Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Mr. Tune - 01-16-2006 At the end of the straight, you'll see 2 strips of checkered flag looking tape about 5-6 feet high each. In between those to lines is the loop (it's underground). . Checking in simpy means the computer has acknowledge your truck. He lets everyone know if they're checked in or not before the race. If you don't hear your name and you're using a house transponder, pull the truck into the pits quickly and make sure you didn't forget it and that it's the correct one. If I remember correctly, on the race sheets, the car # your are is also the transponder you should be using for that race. I have yet to run a 31sec lap . Lots of 32-34 though. I prolly could run a 31, but I drive very conservative. I hate crashing and giving myself 42sec lap times as a result. Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - slim - 01-17-2006 27.658 for me looks like my aavg is 28's for the most part. gnnin for the 26 next time.... got some stuff to try. Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Tex - 01-17-2006 31.104 was my fastest, I did 10 laps in one of my heats at the trophy race (the only one at the trophy race to do that in SMT). The dude that did a 28 with his revo DEFINITELY cut the course somewhere. Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 01-17-2006 Tex Wrote:31.104 was my fastest, I did 10 laps in one of my heats at the trophy race (the only one at the trophy race to do that in SMT). The dude that did a 28 with his revo DEFINITELY cut the course somewhere. Some of his other hot laps were 30.35, 29.34, 28.24... The "normal' times were 32-35 range..still pretty fast.... His truck died for 3 mins in the A Main or he prolly would of been #1..... Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Sh1nn3r - 01-17-2006 Top 4 Fastest lap times in the a-main mt #1 Greiner, Chris(sh1nn3r) 30.817 #2 wolkenheim, Jessy 30.960 <------running a center diff #3 Guild, Gabe (tex) 31.764 #4 kahn, Brian 31.811 http://leisurehoursraceway.com/results/1141r/R4_Race_04_Monster%20Truck_A_Main.htm Out comes of that race would of been alot diffrent, but some people broke or had some engine trouble. Tex was laying it down that day with a TQ nice job tex. He would of for sure came in the top 3 if he didnt break. Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 01-17-2006 Center diff in MT???? hmmmm....shouldn't that have been in UMT? Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - slim - 01-17-2006 yea, but it seems as tho it didnt make a diff (lol pun intended) Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 01-17-2006 funny, good one, not lmao funny, but good! But he finished 2nd, so maybe it helped more than we know? Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Tex - 01-17-2006 He finished 1st!!!! and give me a center diff and watch me walk away from the field! Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 01-17-2006 Sorry...2nd fastest lap! So I'll ask again, why was he allowed to run standard MT? Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Michowski - 01-17-2006 give me a motor and il walk all over the field lol jk. Center diffs are for noobs. Real men use transmissions with a 2 speed LOL Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Tex - 01-17-2006 the "officials" didn't know he was running it. It was hidden in the tranny case (as they all are(CDs in revos), not really hidden because they fit in there fine) I asked him if he should be with the UMTs and he said no because his motor is more than 1.5 inches off the ground with suspension fully compressed. I personally don't care if people run a CD in a revo as long as they aren't dominating because of it. Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Tex - 01-17-2006 I got some heat for you Mich, you haven't been practicing..... Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Michowski - 01-17-2006 practice is for the weak lol. I bet you did get a ton better since the last time we raced. Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - cowboy - 01-17-2006 Running a center diff isn't illegal. The ROAR rules say nothing about it http://www.roarracing.com/downloads/ROARMTRules.pdf Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - rocco79 - 01-17-2006 Nobody cares what roar says anymore. Pro series is where its at. As for it being legal or illegal i think i remember it being a loop hole in the current rules. Since the truck has a transmission it still a standard MT Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - Sh1nn3r - 01-17-2006 A center diff is what seperates mt from umt, so yes he should be in umt class. Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - rocco79 - 01-17-2006 Yeah, but it still has a tranny.... The cen genisis comes that way from the factory! ( yes it too has a 3 speed tranny and a center diff!) Its a Standard MT also. Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - cowboy - 01-17-2006 Well it's legal in Pro Series too. There are many things that seperate the two, a center diff isn't one of them. http://www.rcproseries.com/rules/index.php Official Leisure Hours Raceways thread. - rocco79 - 01-17-2006 Thats what i said cowboy, Those are the old rules i think... Anybody have a link to the current ones. I looked on the site but i couldnt find anything on there |
