Lhr 01-22-06 - FreeRideFrosty - 01-22-2006 I think there were 2 full mains. Surprisingly enough I think there were 2 or 3 more than for the trophy race... something like that. Lhr 01-22-06 - rocco79 - 01-22-2006 R/c dad - When you say you felt like a snow plow on the track i assumed you meant it didnt turn. Lhr 01-22-06 - RCDad - 01-22-2006 No, its just I went really slow just to try to get around the track. With my truck being the size it is I was in the way most of the time. Lhr 01-22-06 - rocco79 - 01-22-2006 Well i have a savage too and i feel that i have a great shot at winning with it most the time, i was tryin to help you get it to feel more nimble and track worthy Lhr 01-22-06 - FreeRideFrosty - 01-22-2006 I was truely shocked when I saw roccos savage. That thing can rip. I honestly never thought I would see a savage that could handle on the track. It scares me to think of what he could do with a revo... Lhr 01-22-06 - RCDad - 01-22-2006 I'd like to get a better steering servo, that Jr servo you guys suggested for the truggy is awsum. So much better than the Hitec 645. Lhr 01-22-06 - FreeRideFrosty - 01-22-2006 What servo are you running?? I'll throw out my reccomendation of the JR 8800. High torque digital. 188 oz. and .15 sec for the speed. Little pricey at about $120 new but I got a good deal used on mine. It would be worth every penny of the $120 though... Lhr 01-22-06 - RCDad - 01-22-2006 Yep, that's it. I'm running it in the truggy now, truly awsum. Lhr 01-22-06 - FreeRideFrosty - 01-22-2006 Awesome. I want to pick up a truggy but there is no way I could afford setting up both my Revo and truggy well with electronics. I will swap them back and forth with whatever I get untill I get rich. LoL Lhr 01-22-06 - RCDad - 01-22-2006 Well, thankfully the Spectrum system I got came with two receivers. It was sweet today to tell the guy when I registered that I run Spectrum! Lhr 01-22-06 - Michowski - 01-22-2006 for 120 bucks why not get the airtronics 94359z. 200oz of torque at .10 and is just a wicked awesome steering servo. Lhr 01-22-06 - rocco79 - 01-22-2006 Mich is right i run the airtronics. The servo is amazing Lhr 01-22-06 - FreeRideFrosty - 01-22-2006 Michowski Wrote:for 120 bucks why not get the airtronics 94359z. 200oz of torque at .10 and is just a wicked awesome steering servo. Wow... I think the steering on the revo is plenty fast right now. I guess I can see it on a buggy or a truggy though... Is that a digital one as well?? Lhr 01-22-06 - rocco79 - 01-22-2006 no. Lhr 01-22-06 - RCDad - 01-22-2006 I noticed my truck returned to center much better with the digital servo, or maybe it was my imagination? Lhr 01-22-06 - FreeRideFrosty - 01-22-2006 I am under the impression that the big plus is when you have the mode on your radio to run a higher sensitivity with a digital servo. Is that true?? I don't know if the fact that the JR is so smooth and quiet has anything to do with it being digital but for $80 I am very happy... Lhr 01-22-06 - Notochord - 01-22-2006 wait what makes a servo a digital servo??? Lhr 01-22-06 - Michowski - 01-22-2006 the name Lhr 01-22-06 - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 01-23-2006 http://www.futaba-rc.com/servos/digitalservos.pdf The digital facts.
