My New LSP! - rocco79 - 02-19-2006 Needs a center diff revo2k My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-19-2006 It doesn't come stock w/one? Crap...I'll have to see. My New LSP! - cemeb4dk - 02-19-2006 I give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My New LSP! - Michowski - 02-19-2006 im tired of this kind of crap on the forums. We should make a new thread, when good forums go bad. My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-19-2006 Well SORRY I didn't know it came w/a spool in it stock! Jeez! Not EVERYBODY knows everything! My New LSP! - cemeb4dk - 02-19-2006 just dont like people screwing other people in this hobby.... You realized you bought a crap truck and tried to pawn it off on somebody else. The bad thing is you did it in your own back yard to a guy you will see trackside. Then you say you didnt have the money to get it up and running, know you will have to spend $50 + to get a center diff, brakes and linkage and cams. Just a shame, and Revo how many threads did you start about your LSP misadventures? There has to be 5 or so threads, it just gets old....... ***Obsessive be glad you bought mine....LOL My New LSP! - Traxxas_Junkee - 02-19-2006 Revo2k is a good guy to deal with, one bad thing and everyone jumps all over him, he relized he screwed up a little bit and he is offering to fix what he did. If he said he didn't have enough money to get it running then he didnt, he sold it and he bought an RTR one, he sold it as a roller, exactly how he bought it, like someone else said, maybe he should have gotten it in a little bit better shape, and maybe the buyer should have looked at it in detail a little more before buying it, both buyer and seller have equal blame in this case IMO. Only because he got caught in a public forum IMO. No use beating a dead horse tho. I know i wont be dealing with him again. My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-19-2006 cemeb4dk Wrote:just dont like people screwing other people in this hobby.... Dude...The truck I sold was not a crap truck. That thing was a loaded roller, but I had no idea of some things on it that were wrong like the bent shock shaft, which I GAVE HIM SPARES OF. Next, I don't HAVE to spend money and get a center diff yet. I don't know where you come up with linkages and such, both trucks I've dealt with have them. I knew I wouldn't have the money to get the ROLLER running, but I had enough money to get a stock RTR if I sold the roller. And all my threads were about different things, including setups to just a general pics one. I'm sure the steering issue is something simple, but I have almost no knowledge of this truck, so I couldn't recognize what it was. Someone will be able to point it out I'm sure. Ryan, just a question; Was there a single wrong thing with the savage? No. This was one mishap. I'm regretful that it happened. Sorry if noone feels like dealing with me again but whatever. Ok? My New LSP! - Obsessive R/C - 02-19-2006 Thanks again G... Be up front if you get burned...own it, don't try to pawn it off on someone you know... That goes for buyer and seller...inspect and be aware of what your getting into. My New LSP! - Traxxas_Junkee - 02-19-2006 I would just like to add one more thing, Revo2k hasnt even driven the truck, so he wouldnt even know if there was anythign wrong with it, like the steering, right now my steering is so bad, they turn all the way with your hands, but not the servo, something is wrong, he didnt even have any electronics in it. I know that if he knew there was something wrong with it, he would have either lowered the price or got it fixed and told the buyer. My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-19-2006 Obsessive R/C Wrote:Thanks again G... And now I know that also. I should have inspected it further before I bought it in the first place. I should have been honest upfront to Dan about what I knew was wrong. My New LSP! - cemeb4dk - 02-19-2006 Revo2k Wrote:And now I know that also. Just to show you how much you dont know!!!! With a spool you only have one brake.. With a center Diff you need front and rear brakes, hence the diff.... So you will need another came and linkage..... Anything else you want me to tell you about My New LSP! - Michowski - 02-19-2006 Revo2k Wrote:Ryan, just a question; Was there a single wrong thing with the savage? No. This was one mishap. I'm regretful that it happened. Sorry if noone feels like dealing with me again but whatever. Ok? Actually there was a ton of crap wrong with it. But unfortunatly i was just like Dan and didnt really look it over untill it was to late. 3 bent shock shafts, 2 spring retainers missing, worn out diff gears front and rear, dirty as hell, worn out bearings in a few spots. But because i didnt pay attention to that stuff untill it was to late i just bit my tongue and accepted the fact i got screwed on this deal. My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-20-2006 I knew the steering was messed up. I'll admit that. And on the diff note, I don't need linkages and stuff if I don't have a center diff because I don't have the money! Once, again, I don't know everything! I'm new to UMT! My New LSP! - Michowski - 02-20-2006 as fun as it is argueing to a bad seller, can we please close this thread. We dont need this junk going on in the forums. They can take it to pm's or emails if they have problems. Everyones aware of the buyer so lets move on and close this thread please. If you would have said something about it, I would have done something about it. Also, some of that was normal wear and tear. My New LSP! - Michowski - 02-20-2006 so a month later you would have replaced everything if i just brought it up out of the blue? Seems like the buyer would appear to be trying to screw you so i didnt. Thats ok i know how you presented it and how i got it so thats all i need to know for future reference. My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-20-2006 Yep, everybody's aware of me! The bad kid! We must all yell at him and call him stupid and bitch till he is ready to commit suicide! My New LSP! - Traxxas_Junkee - 02-20-2006 I cant belive some of the guys on here, the poor kid admitted he was wrong, offered to help and fix the problem and apoligized, what else would you like him to do? My New LSP! - snakebite46 - 02-20-2006 Alright guys, enough is enough. Take this bullshit to Pm's or IM. My New LSP! - cemeb4dk - 02-20-2006 mod please lock this thread...... My New LSP! - snakebite46 - 02-20-2006 LOL there is no mod to lock this thread. My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-20-2006 aren't you both mods? |
