Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - FreeRideFrosty - 03-27-2006 The M8 is an awesome radio!! (though I have had no frequency issues with just channel # 90) Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - FreeRideFrosty - 03-27-2006 Oh... and from what I've heard that pipe is worth the extra money over the Jammin. Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 03-27-2006 UE-Maxx Wrote::eek: OS is very proud of that pipe...... Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - UE-Maxx - 03-27-2006 Not saying anything is wrong with the pipe, I just don't have the money and am looking for a used JP-2. Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - FreeRideFrosty - 03-27-2006 Look for a used 2050. Gabe let his go for $50... Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - UE-Maxx - 03-27-2006 Allright. I just need people to buy my batteries and esc. LOL Someone from here is supposed to be buying my esc. Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - SHYCAGO - 03-27-2006 hey, so i do or dont need the spectrum ? Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - UE-Maxx - 03-27-2006 It's up to you. It's nice to have. But so many people have spektrum that you shouldn't have any problems having an open frequency. Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 03-27-2006 Not required...it just makes for less chance of frequency related hassles. I WOULD stay away from AM "stock" type radios and at least get an FM radio, synthesized frequency, if possible. Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - UE-Maxx - 03-27-2006 M8 is synthesized right? Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 03-27-2006 yep - sorry didn't read that part of the thread as closely as I should have. DOH. Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - Eracer76 - 03-27-2006 UE-Maxx Wrote:M8 is synthesized right? It depends what module you have for the M8, regular FM, synthesized FM, or spektrum system. Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - FreeRideFrosty - 03-27-2006 I believe there is an AM module for the M8 as well... Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - snakebite46 - 03-27-2006 M8's dont come syth. You can get a Novak or Airtronics syth module for one. FYI. M8's are discontinued. M11's are the replacment. Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - SHYCAGO - 03-27-2006 Hey i know its up to me but heres my thoughts, pay about $750 for the kit another 3-$400 for a decent engine and and the radio , well that easily puts this machine well over $1,000 and I dont want to fear having my buggy take off with some little radio glitch or a someone turning there radio on accident in the pits.... Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - snakebite46 - 03-27-2006 Shycago, I havent followed this thread from the beginning. Are you looking for radio suggestions ? Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 03-27-2006 now he is, the M8 is fine u dont need to spend anymore money for a new radio, yea the M11 has a bunch of "great" new features, but i dont think it will change ur driving lol stick with the M8 until u really need a new one Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - cemeb4dk - 03-27-2006 I agree with mike, the m8 is more than suitable. My m11 is great and I love it (a bit heavy), but the m8 is also a great radio.. Need Help With 1/8 Buggy - snakebite46 - 03-27-2006 Ok thanks guys. Yes the M8 is a great radio.
