What should I do now??? - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 03-27-2006

Tony D drives a KY buggy and he said they blew---pun intended :p:

Whats the problem with stock LSP brakes ? Mine stops pretty good. ALittle misadjusted (endo city) but they do the job.

What should I do now??? - rocco79 - 03-27-2006

I liked the stockers but i really like the cradocks more. At the end of last season near the end of every main they would fade badly

What should I do now??? - snakebite46 - 03-27-2006

Gotcha. Do you use the Racer's Edge High temp craddock style disks or you know some other company that makes them ?

What should I do now??? - Eracer76 - 03-27-2006

I have carbon fiber disks on mine and they still fade after about 10 min of racing. I have to adjust my brake epa on the fly, usually during the pit stop I bump it up a little.
Im thinking about trying something else instead.

I use the hd craddocks I think they are like 16 a pair. I tried the normal ones and the lsp is to heavy and they just stripped out the hex. I think rocco has 2 normal ones glued together.

I bought two packs of the regular cradocks ( R.E.) .... I glued two of them together for the fronts and did the same for the rear. Mine work great.

They truggy itself blew or the brakes??

What should I do now??? - cemeb4dk - 03-27-2006

Well if tony dont like them they got to be bad...... LOL

Seriously I like the hd craddock brakes with no noticeable fade.

What should I do now??? - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 03-27-2006

lol rocco the brakes on the buggy were craddocks and he said the same thing i did

What should I do now??? - rocco79 - 03-27-2006

They need time to break in

What should I do now??? - Eracer76 - 03-27-2006

What should I do now??? - rocco79 - 03-27-2006

Got those too! ( Back-ups! LOL!!!)

What should I do now??? - snakebite46 - 03-27-2006

Those are the ones I wanted to pick up. So your saying, you glue two of those together and use them on the frt and rear ? Have you guys tried using 2 on the front and one on the rear ? Like the stock set-up ?

What should I do now??? - cemeb4dk - 03-27-2006

no rich these do not need to be glued together (the ones in the link) The thinner ones can be glued

What should I do now??? - rocco79 - 03-27-2006

I dont think you need those doubled up bro

What should I do now??? - FreeRideFrosty - 03-28-2006

I need to make it to the A-main before I need to worry about running long enough to notice brake fade. LoL

What should I do now??? - squirrel - 03-28-2006

Do what you did with the revo! Sell it and get something else!!!

j/p!!!

What should I do now??? - FreeRideFrosty - 03-28-2006

LoL... you funny. I think I am happy though. (I think... LoL) I love the class. It is fairly easy to drive but not at all easy to do well. I like SMT but I think that there is even more of a challenge here. (Gabe, John, all of you big front runners in SMT don't take this like you were easy to beat... because I never beat you guys. Just wanted to make that clear) I love the power and stability of the LSP and even though I have had some breakage issues they are minor or nonexistant compared to the revo. The only thing I would sell it for at this time would be to get a NIB LSP or CRT. (I wonder if I sell it as a roller with a motor if I can get close to enough to buy a brand new one and start over... hmmmm. LoL)

Dan i bet if you wrenched on your stuff you wouldnt break some things....Wink lol

What should I do now??? - FreeRideFrosty - 03-28-2006

Like?? Nothing broke due to my bad or lack of wrenching.
