Which tires? - Crazy Phantom - 10-01-2006 So should I stay away from the Revo 3.8" rims? The TTR rims have 28mm offset. Those Hole Shot MTR's little pins look like they would wear instantly. Let me know more of what you guys think is the best tire for LHR indoor. Thanks, Joe Which tires? - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 10-01-2006 the holeshots dont wear at all on loose blue groove so i would imagine indoor with losts of traction they would not wear at all Which tires? - HAGASAN - 10-01-2006 Play it safe and get the C compound Boas, they last forever. Which tires? - Tex - 10-01-2006 holeshots don't wear like you would think. Joe's right though, the boa C's are tried and true, they work great with stock foam so easier on your pocket book as well. I'ma be honest, TTR rims suck, skip those all together. I had a ebmodded P5 in my revo and the 14mm hex held up just fine. I will say (before you waste your money) response tires will get blown off the rims with BB power. Revo 3.8 rims are ok but go with pythons if you really want those rims. If it was me, boaC's or holeshots on proline standard offset rims Which tires? - Tex - 10-01-2006 oh and don't look at my avatar, I ran those rims for a milisecond before they were trashed. Don't run 40 series unless they have the 23mm hex. Which tires? - rocco79 - 10-01-2006 I have alotta 23mm 40 series wheels and tires, and i think i have some nice boa c's on 23mm too ... If you need. I might be able to help ya out bro.. PM me if your interseted Which tires? - snakebite46 - 10-01-2006 Boa 'C' are the ticket for indoor at LH. Everyone is right, they will last you the entire season and then some. Which tires? - Crazy Phantom - 10-01-2006 OK, Boa "C"'s decided on, now which rims should I get?Revo rims? 14mm hexes or 17mm hexes? Let me know, Joe Which tires? - Tex - 10-01-2006 proline standard offset 14mm will be fine, even with BB power Which tires? - Casketman - 10-02-2006 Which bowties to use? MTR,MT,or the classic? I cant find the MTR bowties online yet for sale, but I am sure they will be soon. Which tires? - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 10-02-2006 depends on the track anything smooth i would go with the MTR's they should be available fairly soon Which tires? - Casketman - 10-02-2006 Well it would be LH. No where else indoor for me to race. Which tires? - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 10-02-2006 Mtr Which tires? - cemeb4dk - 10-02-2006 bowtie mtrs are available... Which tires? - rocco79 - 10-02-2006 where? Which tires? - cemeb4dk - 10-02-2006 bobby's hobbies 46.75 a pair shipped priority maybe homer also Which tires? - Ponch - 10-02-2006 http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXPCG8&P=7 Early October.... Which tires? - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 10-02-2006 ouch its times like these im glad im sponsored Which tires? - cemeb4dk - 10-02-2006 some delaers have them in hand already... Iknow Bob Does Which tires? - Casketman - 10-02-2006 46.75/pair? Pair as in 2 tires or pair as in a set(2 packs of 2). I hope the set LOL. Which is around the normal price. Oh well,I plan to make my order on friday morning. So unless A-main or tower(prefer A-main,no sales tax) has them in. I will go with boa's with Racer Edge foams. I still need a set for the ST-1,so there is time for that. Just going to test out maximizers with these tires. If I dont like the rims. Then time for a new set of rims LOL. And not the kind that Junkee has for sale. Wanting 17mm Which tires? - rocco79 - 10-02-2006 bob says he has them... Then he'll tell you he doesnt like wit the hole shots Which tires? - Tex - 10-03-2006 I'm confused..... I'm sure the 46.50 is for (4), not a pair like cemeb4dk said. Also if your running boas, the stock foam is just as good as the RE so don't waste your money. Just make sure the boa foams are white, they had a bad run of foams that were dark grey (you don't want those) Which tires? - cemeb4dk - 10-03-2006 i meant set....... Which tires? - Casketman - 10-03-2006 The ones pictured at A-main are gray. I dont really want to take the chance on what color they might be when they get here. Then find out I have to order again. Besides,if they are white,I will just hold onto the RE foams till I put new rubber on the ST-1 Which tires? - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 10-03-2006 Tex Wrote:I'm confused..... Will Panther do anything about the greys if you have them? Like send you the whites? |
