O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Obsessive R/C - 02-03-2007 I'm very interested to see how the Speed compares to the JP O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Sh1nn3r - 02-03-2007 Same, the internals are very different so it should be cool to see how it runs. O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Ponch - 02-03-2007 No, he said same as in "Same here" Or +1 etc. O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - pwnzor - 02-03-2007 I see they are offering the magnesium head for all the other v-specs as well, is magnesium more withstanding to the vigors of escessive heat? just curious why magnesium and not titanium or beryllium? I know its light, but any other advantages to using this material over the others I previously mentioned? O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Meatwad - 02-03-2007 theres one on ebay for 399 buy it now O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - rocco79 - 02-03-2007 Titanium doesnt like too transfer heat. Very poor in that aspect. beryllium is very brittle and not a good choice for an engine head O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 02-03-2007 magnesium is basically the lightest material available O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Obsessive R/C - 02-03-2007 Lower CG weight advantage w/ the Mag head...no other benefit really. Ponch Wrote:No, he said same as in "Same here" Or +1 etc.I know he was in agreement....I was refering to the "internal" remark O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 02-03-2007 there are some big differences in the internals on the JP, the speed did not have alot of port work done at all when u compare it to the EB or the JP, the crank is a little more worked over though. They pretty much made the vspec much smoother on the bottom and gave it some more top. Everyone is saying that the JP Recab and EB mod vspecs all have more power O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - rocco79 - 02-03-2007 Amazing that its just a three port... O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 02-03-2007 ya i know its ridiculous, Ive never seen a 3 port run so fast O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - chickenfarmer3 - 02-03-2007 inferno st Wrote:theres one on ebay for 399 buy it now i doubt it. O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - FreeRideFrosty - 02-03-2007 What is the flash point of magnesium?? That would be one hell of a flare up on a bad tuning error...... O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 02-03-2007 like 600* i believe O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Sh1nn3r - 02-03-2007 Mounted O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 02-03-2007 wish ur mom looked that nice mounted! lol O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - HAGASAN - 02-03-2007 Yep, just as i thought. It mounts just like any other engine. The rumors are silenced. O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Sh1nn3r - 02-03-2007 Looks pretty though. O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 02-03-2007 maybe take off the RB stickers now? O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Sh1nn3r - 02-03-2007 Ya, and maybe i could put some cheeto puff stickers on there eh? O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 02-03-2007 man where did u get those made i want some! O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - rocco79 - 02-03-2007 Is the JP-3 pipe what they suggest on those babies? O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 02-03-2007 that or the 2050, 2060 O.S. Speed VZ-B .21 - rocco79 - 02-03-2007 huh.... well i cant wait to watch my p5x run right with it down the straight!
