I think i'll last a while on friday nights, a 250cc tank lasts a while. Smile Probably only fill it up halfway.

BTW, if you want to see how hot the combustion temp is, its best to temp the pipe, right on the header, if your combustion temp is too high it'll reflect in the pipe. Check for pitting, white ash, or a distorted coil on the glow plug.

i cant wait to run with ya on fridays.:joy:
and yes, i do temp it at the header...thats where i get the (high) reading...even though the head is only tempin @ 220-230.

i never thought to check for ash, or distortion on the glow plug....good call on that one.

and i will be bringing, a couple different plugs to, kind of, experiment with.

Pray that my brake pads and disc arrive before friday. Thats the last peice needed for this conversion. I had to use o-rings to keep the center dog bones from slipping out of the yokes, the dog bone is about 5mm too short and its got alot of slop, we'll see how long it holds up. Might have to have a custom front dog bone made.

The good news is that now the stock hyper 2spd made for buggies will fit, so I can put a 2spd back in without going back to that crappy 2spd + rev.

Gotta do break-in on the 30vg friday night after I pick up a few collets, the collet I have now is too thick/tall and the flywheel doesn't sit deep enough so the shaft is too short. Should be able to get it fixed. I can always go to a different flywheel, but it may not be large enough to reach the bump box flywheel.
