Gettin UE steel ASAP. did a little bashing today - t to the maxx2 - 01-27-2006 Better than possibly bending the racerx, LOL did a little bashing today - t to the maxx2 - 01-27-2006 How are you planning on getting this one out? did a little bashing today - Traxxas_Junkee - 01-27-2006 t to the maxx2 Wrote:How are you planning on getting this one out? yeah that doesnt look like its going to be that easy, cant really get a grinder intere to get a slot, maybe drill it out? did a little bashing today - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 01-27-2006 Easyout. Go to any hardware store or Sears. You drill a small pilot hole in the center and then the easyout uses left handed threads to back out the broken stud. Cheap and easy! did a little bashing today - MaxxGS - 01-27-2006 Truck looks good Rob glad to see you are running it. Tough luck on the pillow balls. I have UE on my Predator and have never had a problem. I have an idea to get out the broke thread of the pillow ball. It's probably not tight in the arm so go to a good hardware store (Not Home Depot, Menards etc.) Purchase a left hand drill bit and make sure you run the drill in reverse. The left hand rotation in most cases will extract the threaded end without having to use an easy-out / extractor. did a little bashing today - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 01-27-2006 man all those sweet parts and a stupid thing like that breaks tough luck bro great looking truck tho did a little bashing today - MaxxGS - 01-27-2006 Wait I forgot its UE Racer X like mine. Remove your set screw from the back of the arm and use a regular drill bit. The rotation of the bit will most likely remove it. Just make sure you center punch it dead center if possible. Not to worry you will get it out. did a little bashing today - RobH - 01-27-2006 I already got it out did a little bashing today - UE-Maxx - 01-27-2006 did a little bashing today - FreeRideFrosty - 01-28-2006 Well that's great... LoL. Now all you need to learn is how to drive... I'm J/k... LoL did a little bashing today - RobH - 01-29-2006 I just trashed a full set of rims lol |
