I hope at least a few hour gap. Looking at the radar now and its moving northest. Were on the bottom of the storm and it looks like it might move up enough to give us some clear spots tomorrow.

Damn, looks like rain, rain, and more rain. Then next week? ALL SUN. Damn. I'm still negotiating in my head weather (no pun intended) I want to trek down there tomorrow or not. I dont want to drive 40 min in the rain to sit in my car
I'll see what the weather is like tomorrow morning and base my decision on that.

Well never really stopped raining here. Figured nobody was gonna show and decided to save the 40 minute trip for another time. Sucks driving down the highway on a bike doing 80mph.

So, I tried to get there... And failed. Epically. I flooded my car. Nothing bad I think... just went crazy with the electrical system. <-- yeah, right. not bad
Good thing I was only 5 min from home so my dad could come pick me up after I pushed my car out of 6inches of water... Pathetic really. It wasn't even up to my wheels! Live and learn I suppose. I learned my lesson. I just hope I dont have to learn it again if I need to tow it and have it repaired:o:

wow it rained pretty damb hard compared to over here. it was pretty much on and off untill we decided to leave since everyone else was a no show

It hasnt stopped raining yet. Been raining since friday with only a small window of about 3 hours when it actually stopped. Otherwise water has been falling from the sky since friday. Ike is almost by us. Im guessing tuesday we will see him over us. Bottom part of it is at the bottom of IL, not quite touching us yet. Still got another 2 solid days of just rain.
