if you ditch the 2 speed in a revo it will have no top end. A stock electric car will have more top end then a revo with single speed.

As far as I know,there is no single speed deal for the revo. But I look at it this way. If I do set up a revo as a truggy and I fail or I am not happy with where I place. Atleast I will still be able to race it with the MT class. I will just sell my old revo and run the new one. Or downgrade the old revo to a bashing truck.
