Thank you Professor Czech!

One question...what pressure do you spray at when you are doing larger areas?

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - kevinF - 07-13-2006

wow......nice write up mike also nice bodies.

yeah umm, so how do you do it?? lol........looks very hard and confusing to do. I guess you need a lot of patience

i thikn ill let you be the painter. lol

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-13-2006

lol Dave, i usually spray at 35-40 for normal sections, large sections of white i crank it up to 50

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 07-13-2006

Thanks. I guess I'll hook up to the Big Sears Compressor in the garage and paint before winter hits again! My indoor Paasche D compressor only hits 30 psi or so.

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-13-2006

i like the big compressors they are loud when they kick on but they hardly kick on lol

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 07-13-2006

Yeah mines got a BIG tank on it with a 2hp motor that's wired for 220v..so it lives in the garage. Works great painting real cars, too. Big Grin

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-13-2006

nice lol

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - UE-Maxx - 07-13-2006

Wow, Mike. That is a great write up.

A couple questions.

Do you put the templates of the design inside the body and "trace" it or do you just do it freehand?

And is there a specific reason you use the alcohol to remove the sharpie?

I am using a big air compressor in my garage. I think I am going to have to pick up a small one to paint in the winter.

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-13-2006

ya i put the templates inside and trace it, I drew them out the first time i did the body on the body first, then traced that onto paper which i saved.

i use alcohol on the body cuz thats the only thing that gets the marker off lol

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-13-2006

the one i got is nice 40$

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - UE-Maxx - 07-13-2006

I wouldnt' be able to draw that without making a mistake on the body.

What I meant to try and ask is that is there a specific reason you take the sharpie off?

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-13-2006

ya cuz after i cut the first line it simplifies the design, just like i said it was important to make a fine line the first time, to trace the marker line, now when u do the pinstriping u only have one cut line to look at as opposed to the cut line and the marker line

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - UE-Maxx - 07-13-2006

Ok thanks a lot.

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-13-2006

no problem

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - Ponch - 07-13-2006

Hey, how long do you wait inbetween coats of liquid mask? Thanks.

Oh and could you pretty please with a cherry on top scan up some of your templates for us to use? Or would that ruin your business lol...

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - UE-Maxx - 07-13-2006

Draw your own. That is stealing his work.

Custom Bodies by Czech-it-Out Graphics - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-13-2006

lol ya i dont think i will be scanning any, feel free to copy them off my website but im not gonna post them on here lol

I wait till each coat is dry to the touch and u can see through it, it shouldnt look wet or milky blue at all
