I grease the hell out of those S-5's But then again,I also use the oversized rings and I have yet to have a leak problem out of them. My center still is a pain somewhat. I might have to double up the gasket with that. It still wants to leak alittle from beind the spur gear even after I have sanded the cup down.

The Official Mugen Thread - allan42r - 08-28-2007

since we started using a little 77b gasket sealant by permatex the diff even that center one dont leak and we reuse the paper gasket over and over
and using a lot of grease on the outdrive seems to help seal the diffIdea

When cleaning my truck. I noticed that sometime when I refilled my front diff a while back. The gasket fell out because there wasnt anything there this time around.. No leak

The Official Mugen Thread - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 08-28-2007

The Official Mugen Thread - allan42r - 08-29-2007

nice. you got your car ready?

The Official Mugen Thread - chickenfarmer3 - 08-30-2007

thye were really good man, it is pretty ruff at jtec where i tested at yesterday and the bumps didnt phase the buggy at all, going thru the rutted out corners was alot easier and i could get on the gas alot sooner and not worry about catching a rut and rolling over, the car lands more plush and doesnt bottom out nearly as much as before, on the truggy they were good also, jumped and landed better, and if ya land not quite right it seems to recover itself alot better and not get out of control from slapping the rear on over shooting jumps, costly yes, but IMO worth every penny. soon as i get the pics uploaded i will posty them.

The Official Mugen Thread - chickenfarmer3 - 08-30-2007
