first time at LHR/ Spektrum thread - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 01-06-2006 LOL cool first time at LHR/ Spektrum thread - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 01-06-2006 captain obvious first time at LHR/ Spektrum thread - UE-Maxx - 01-06-2006 Czech-it-Out Graphics Wrote:maybe this thread should be renamed lol anyone tried the spektrum telemetry system yet? Someone at my LHS said there is a new spektrum coming out? Is that it? I think he said it is 5.8GHz. What is going to be the difference? When is it going to come out and should I wait until it comes out instead of getting the DX3? Also with binding the spektrum, do you need to bind it like every new place you go to or is it just once and your done? first time at LHR/ Spektrum thread - cemeb4dk - 01-07-2006 just once first time at LHR/ Spektrum thread - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 01-07-2006 there isnt a new one coming out, this is just a thing that will give you temp readings, RPMS volatage and lap times. You only have to bind it once, but i re do it every once in awhile just to be safe first time at LHR/ Spektrum thread - UE-Maxx - 01-07-2006 Thanks. Is it just new modules or a whole new Tx? first time at LHR/ Spektrum thread - kevinF - 01-07-2006 so we racers should by a spektrum dx3? (note: im not a racer yet, but soon will) first time at LHR/ Spektrum thread - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 01-07-2006 its not either lol its like a separate receiver thats a little bigger than a glow plug and square that u need to plug some stuff into, I will have one for the trophy race, so i will have a little more info about it soon first time at LHR/ Spektrum thread - UE-Maxx - 01-07-2006 Oh ok. How much is it? I think I am getting the DX3 tomorrow. first time at LHR/ Spektrum thread - thenewguy821 - 01-07-2006 The Telemetry Module at Hobbytown is $184. I'm not sure how many sensors that comes with. If I remember right, there are seperate sensors to read Temp, RPM, Voltage, etc. They then transmit the info back to a small Rx that you would have attached to your Transmitter, so you could look down and see the info. On the Nomadio system, you can set up different alert tones or vibrations to alert you of problems (Excessive heat, low voltage...) I'm not sure if the Spektrum module will do the same thing. first time at LHR/ Spektrum thread - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 01-07-2006 140$ thats a bit steep, but if it works as good as an exorgen sp? for temp im sold on it first time at LHR/ Spektrum thread - Biodragen - 01-07-2006 Czech-it-Out Graphics Wrote:maybe this thread should be renamed lol anyone tried the spektrum telemetry system yet?
