My new ride - rocco79 - 05-03-2009 well??? Have you? My new ride - Ponch - 05-03-2009 Ha. No. I couldn't even move this morning when I went to get out of bed. That was weird. But I did find out that I do have uninsured motorist coverage in my plan so i'm real happy about that. Gettin money either way. My new ride - squirrel - 05-03-2009 Ponch Wrote:Ha. No. I couldn't even move this morning when I went to get out of bed. That was weird. Only a couple hundred bucks though, I had to have my truck appraised in order to get it insured for it's full value. My new ride - Ponch - 05-04-2009 Pics! My new ride - rocco79 - 05-04-2009 Man! All those perfectly good rear window stickers! Dammmmn... My new ride - J-Dub - 05-04-2009 Well, thankfully you were driving an older vehicle that was still made completely out of metal. Or else you might have gotten hurt. Glad you're okay though bud. My new ride - Racin' Ranger1 - 05-04-2009 crashing hurts....i would know..... this happened to me in February My new ride - BJoe - 05-04-2009 Ponch Wrote:Pics! Wow, the little Dak really held up well, how fast was she going? Racin' Ranger1 Wrote:crashing hurts....i would know..... this happened to me in February Ouch, atleast the regular cabs hold up well, after seeing videos of the extended cab with minidoor and SuperCrew F150's folding up in wrecks, I was worried about Dad driving a F150 like your's for a work truck (doesn't own it, just drives it) until seeing that pic. You're right on crashing being painful My new ride - J-Dub - 05-05-2009 Ponch got T-boned Bjoe. My new ride - BJoe - 05-05-2009 J-Dub Wrote:Ponch got T-boned Bjoe. I kinda figured that out between the carnage and reading the first post about this wreck, I was just wondering if he knew how fast the gal that hit him was going My new ride - J-Dub - 05-05-2009 Ohhh, I guess I misread and thought you asked him how fast he was going. Woops. ::poke: My new ride - Ponch - 05-05-2009 Well speed limit was 40 and she sped up to make the light... So you do the math. Turns out she is illegal, no license, no insurance. Great. No money for my losses. My new ride - J-Dub - 05-05-2009 i hate illegal immigrants. My new ride - AddictedtoNITRO - 05-05-2009 Imagine that. Once again the honest citizen gets screwed. With all the money this country pisses away on stupid stuff we need to have Rifle armed guards every 1/2 mile sitting in life guard chairs all along the border. With looots of bullets. 1 step on american soil and pow. Pretty soon the illegals seeing the pile of dead buddys laying there might be detured. Bad part is she won't even be deported. She'll be back next week driving in a new car. Living in a house that our great goverment is paying for lol My new ride - AddictedtoNITRO - 05-05-2009 BJoe Wrote:Wow, the little Dak really held up well, how fast was she going? Hey Joe, What year is your dads work truck? They solved that problem with the 05 and ups. Mine is a 05 and I remember correctly it has 4 star crash test rating on all sides but 1 and thats rear and a 3 My new ride - BJoe - 05-05-2009 AddictedtoNITRO Wrote:Hey Joe, What year is your dads work truck? It did impress him that when he left the company for 6 month under protest (one thing he loves about being old and retired, being able to tell people to shove it whenever he damn well feels like it) the truck was driven 20k in the time he was gone and nobody ever bothered to change the oil in that time, and the damn thing still has the same motor:eek: When he'd get the oil changed he'd just take it to a quickchange place and have the cheap work done and it went that long on dino oil! Then that little truck held up damn good for you guys in that situationalute: Ponch Wrote:Turns out she is illegal, no license, no insurance. Great. No money for my losses. Had two out of those three when I got hit by the dring driver 10 years ago, he is a legal citizen, but didn't have the latter two plus being drunk:mad: Atleast he was the one that had to take an ambulance ride and not me:wavey: My new ride - mikeh - 05-06-2009 Just fix the flat, tape up plastic over the windshield and drive the thing. My new ride - Ponch - 05-06-2009 mikeh Wrote:Just fix the flat, tape up plastic over the windshield and drive the thing. Great advice lol. Yeah. I'm not too happy right now. My insurance claims that they should only have to cover medical costs with my current uninsured motorist coverage, but IL law says they have to cover what an actual insurance company would have, had she been insured. My new ride - BJoe - 05-07-2009 Gotta love insurance companies:mad: My new ride - J-Dub - 05-07-2009 Insurance companys are like any other business. theirs always some kind of bull-sh#$ clause that screws responsible people, that are screwed by irresponsible people. My new ride - rocco79 - 05-07-2009 Insurance copy " Did you have any mustard packets in your glove box" Ponch " Uh... No, i dont think so... why!???" I.C. " ohhhhhh, well as you can see in paragraph 3 line 18 adendum II states you need to have atleast 3 mustard packets in the vehicle at all times... Sorry but its in your contract." My new ride - mikeh - 05-07-2009 Lawyer up. Find a local lawer and pay them 100 bucks to send a nice letter explaining the law to them. My new ride - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 05-07-2009 The wife worked in the Insurance industry. Standard claims procedure: Say no and hope they go away. If they fight it, actually open the file and review the claim. Ponch, don't tell your agent/claim rep anything you don't the other party to find out. They share all info! Tell your story 100% in your favor and don't give the other party anything they can use against you. The frame of that truck prolly saved your buddy. What was she driving? And did the EMT say you were getting the action for the story, or HE WAS? My new ride - squirrel - 05-07-2009 DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 Wrote:The wife worked in the Insurance industry. He was, EMT - "I rescued some special olympics kid from this horrible wreck!" Hottie - "Thats so sweet, F@CK ME!!!!" |
