And y'all thought $1600 MT's were big bucks.... Girls like big...planes - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 09-11-2005 Come out to Naperville on a Sunday afternoon and watch them fly. Some of these guys are flying pretty large planes and flying aerobatics. You can see them pretty clearly at 1000'. It's fun stuff. Just really expensive when it goes wrong. And unlike surface RC, you have to be permitted and insured to fly model planes. You join the national organization that handles model airplanes and you get liability coverage through them.
