After using Tex's hex drivers, now my own, I wonder why I waited so long to get some decent tools. For the first time ever, I removed a VBS skid without stripping a screw. guess what people!!! - Michowski - 11-16-2005 good tools make a world of difference when working on a truck. I have another set of Sportwerks's. I don't really like it because it is too short. Now I need to get me a Hudy's guess what people!!! - FreeRideFrosty - 11-17-2005 DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 Wrote:You mean those tools that come with the Revo aren't the good stuff? Oh you are a funny guy.... I snapped one of the revo tools off and it stabbed into a part of my hand. It was pretty gruesome. You think I can sue them??? :bustingup guess what people!!! - squirrel - 11-17-2005 i had the hudys, personally i think they were junk! my screws were stronger than them! guess what people!!! - FreeRideFrosty - 11-17-2005 I am too much of a cheap @ss to buy nice tools. I use what I have for now and will upgrade along the line. I don't own any socket drivers either... I just snag my dads small snap on ratchet with long sockets and a flex extension and that thing can reach anything... guess what people!!! - squirrel - 11-17-2005 yeah snap-offs are good like that!!! i just picked up new craftsman allens and i love them. guess what people!!! - FreeRideFrosty - 11-17-2005 I need to get some metric allen bits though. all I have right now are standard. They are great for stripping out small metric allens... guess what people!!! - Tex - 11-17-2005 you guys trip me out...lol I used dynamite hex drivers for 2 years and they were oh, yet too short. I have the hudy's now and like them. I definitely wouldn't say they are weak, they are the best RC tools made (and you pay for that at the register...lol) |
