while looking through the manual to my buggy, it calls for grease in certain areas. do you guys use grease, and if so what types?

yepp,

Grease is a must on the Diff gears (ring and pinion) Some manuals say to use it on the bearings that does help a bit but dirt collects on it. I was useing the grease that was included with my k3 for a long time, I ran out so i have been using some AE black grease.

I will have a list of K3 parts for you by tomorrow hopefully

Black AE grease here too. I use wheel bearing grease too. I get the stuff by the bucket from work. =)

I go to Napa and use white lithium grease.

I also have some stuff called white lightning from my old Mountain biking days, its basically the same a lithium. repels dirt and water etc.

White lightning is the... well you get it... I use it for my rc's and my MTB. Great stuff...

I like the Tamiya molybdenum disulfide (black grease). You need only a VERY thin coat of it. It's a very high pressure lube (like 80000+psi) so, it'll work anywhere.

So bearing grease wont kill my diffs? I thought it might be too much
