Paddle Tires? - UE-Maxx - 12-03-2005 Does anyone make paddle tires for the Traxxas Bandit? If not, what are the best tires to use in the snow. Paddle Tires? - Ponch - 12-03-2005 Hm...If stadium truck tires fit, then I think proline might, but not sure.... Paddle Tires? - north_shore_racer - 12-03-2005 i kno they make paddle tires for MT's but i dont kno...they gotta make em, that would be pretty cool... Paddle Tires? - SixVi6-Camaro - 12-03-2005 http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDT99&P=7 Proline makes 2.2 truck tires. If you can put a 2.2 truck tire on there you would be set with paddles. Paddle Tires? - UE-Maxx - 12-03-2005 Ok. Some people said that you would be able to put 2.2 truck tires on there as long as you glue them. Paddle Tires? - Tex - 12-03-2005 they will be a tad too big, the rim is a 2.0, it'll work if you glue them good Paddle Tires? - UE-Maxx - 12-03-2005 Ok. I will see what my LHS have. I don't want to place a tower order. Paddle Tires? - Ponch - 12-03-2005 lol felt like posting this---here's my snow truck... Paddle Tires? - BJoe - 12-04-2005 Put the Pro-Line Sand Paws on an Electric front or Nitro rear Rustler/Stampede rim, that should make it a bolt on operation, I may try RPM Nitro Rusty/Pede arms on the back of mine with the standard offset Electric Rusty/Pede wheel I already have though. Paddle Tires? - UE-Maxx - 12-04-2005 If I put them on a rustler's rim, don't I need to buy the wheel hubs also? http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJH98&P=X Paddle Tires? - BJoe - 12-04-2005 Depends on the rim, I put mine on RPM Rims which came with wheel hexes. Paddle Tires? - UE-Maxx - 12-04-2005 Thanks Paddle Tires? - Notochord - 12-04-2005 revo2k did u make those ski's or did u by them. what are they made out of. Paddle Tires? - UE-Maxx - 12-04-2005 He made them. Paddle Tires? - BJoe - 12-06-2005 Haven't taken any pics yet, but I converted mine last night with parts I had laying around, looks pretty wild and has a ton of ground clearance too! Paddle Tires? - UE-Maxx - 12-06-2005 Converted what? I don't have money for paddles but I have some old slicks that I might buy tacks and stick them through and either glue or tape them. Paddle Tires? - UE-Maxx - 12-06-2005 Just got some thumb tacs and put them in my slicks. Only problem I see is no traction coming from the tire itself and that the tire is so low profile. I will get some pictures when I mount them. Waiting for the water to boil to take off my old tires. Paddle Tires? - Mnster - 12-06-2005 For 2.2 paddles you have 2 choices sand paw tires or Panther paddles I have the proline sand paddles they work good. I just wish they where taller they like to dig real easy. I also have a set of buggy paddle tires in a 1.9 size made by duratrax. Paddle Tires? - UE-Maxx - 12-06-2005 The tacs worked great. Couldn't even do powerslides if I tried. The only problem is that the tacs weren't staying in. They would try and go back in the tire. I used CA tire glue on them and that didn't seem to work too well. Anyone have any ideas. Paddle Tires? - BJoe - 12-07-2005 UE-Maxx Wrote:Converted what? N-Rusty/Pede RPM Arms, Paddles and Ribs on RPM rims, E-Rusty/Pede front axles and partial rear D/S's, softer rear springs (had trinity Monstermaxx XXHD 8.6lb springs on the back  ) and jacked it up some Paddle Tires? - UE-Maxx - 12-07-2005 Oh. |
