Glow-Peak Pro - RCDad - 01-30-2006 Just curious if any of you have or have used a quick ignitor charger like Dynamite's Glow-Peak Pro? Also, where do you guys get your ignitor batteries? I think a few of mine have died. Glow-Peak Pro - Ponch - 01-30-2006 IDK about that glow igniter, but for the batteries they're just regular old batteries....If we meet up at the track some time, find me and I can throw you a loose C cell or 2 that are rechargeable. Glow-Peak Pro - Biodragen - 01-30-2006 That is about how I get my batteries too---old pack where one cell went bad or something. Glow-Peak Pro - RCDad - 01-30-2006 I thought they were different, it looked like they don't have the bump on the top like normal C cells? Glow-Peak Pro - cemeb4dk - 01-30-2006 Your standard glow ignitors hold sub C's. Unless you are using the ones that will work with alkaline type batteries. Glow-Peak Pro - Biodragen - 01-30-2006 They both have the lil bump on it. Sub C are larger than the Alk batteries. Glow-Peak Pro - RCDad - 01-30-2006 That's weird, the glow plug batts I have don't have the bump. I'm seriously thinking of trying to charge my glow plug ignitors with my MRC 969 Glow-Peak Pro - cemeb4dk - 01-30-2006 my lhs sells GP3300 sub c's in a single cell. I think I paid $7 for it. Last all day starting 2 vehicles. Glow-Peak Pro - RCDad - 01-30-2006 I really had no problems Sunday, I had one plugged in on the ready and never needed it. I used the same one all day, but you know me, Mr. Paranoid. I freak when anything starts going wrong. |
