GO 'NECKS!!!!:joy: Yep, home of Western Illinois U. Nice small town. Too bad there aren't any R/C tracks nearby . Sure miss living in Chicago and being close to a lot of hobby shops! Scottie's place is Trackside and it's indoor. The bulk of the Tamiya TCS races will be run on carpet (Ozite I believe) with several rounds of rally cars in the indoor dirt track. I love the place and I don't mind the yearly trip. TCS Wisconsin - UE-Maxx - 02-19-2006 That's cool. It is a nice small town. Really quiet compared to Chicago. There are the requisite bars around (being a university town), a few restaurants, coffee houses, a pub and lots of civic events. Really nice, friendly and civilized folks. What a potential gold mine for an indoor/outdoor R/C track with all of those college students around and not much in the way of entertainment besides drinking, small bands and oh...the ancient roller skating rink. |
