My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-19-2006 Should be here sometime this week (just bought it offa ebay) Description from auction-->"Ok, here it is. This is a great deal for someone. This truck is race ready. All you need is batteries for the radio and receiver, 1.5v glow ignitor and of course, fuel. This truck started life as a Lightning GT. I have made it race ready. I added a Lightning Pro-R tuned pipe and tires, 14mm wheel hexes, cnc steering knuckles, only raced one night and a Lightning Stadium Pro body. It comes with a power factory .26 motor that I bought off someone that took it off their new Lightning Stadium. This motor has about ¾ of a gallon of fuel through it, that’s it. It was broken in by heat cycling. The radio that comes with it is a 27mhz am radio. It also comes with the stock throttle servo and the double steering servo setup from the factory as well. As you can see from the pics, I always tore it down after every race, cleaned and inspected it. This truck is tuned for my climate, it will need to be retuned to suit your climate. I just replaced the clutch bell (14t), bearings and flywheel. I also upgraded the clutch to an HPI Savage 3 shoe with heavy springs. It comes with 2 front and 2 rear a-arms, 2 left rear hubs, the roto start for the motor, starter shaft, 7.2 Volt battery and some other spare parts and screws. I will also include the lightning GT body. Both bodies are in fair condition. They do show wear on them like scratches and a few minor cracks. Do to the nature of this item, it is sold as it. I do promise that it runs and will arrive as described." Looks good to me. My New LSP! - mikecooper - 02-19-2006 how much did it end at? My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-19-2006 Err...would it just be a LS? It's not the pro oops lmao... Got it for $325 Shipped to my door. My New LSP! - Obsessive R/C - 02-19-2006 Don't you mean Lightning GT? My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-19-2006 ORC, I think it's closer to a stadium compared to a GT. All that's different now is the dual steering servo which is gonna get ditched for single servo. My New LSP! - rocco79 - 02-19-2006 Does it have cvds in the front??? Does it have a center diff or a center spool??? My New LSP! - kevinF - 02-19-2006 sweet truck My New LSP! - FreeRideFrosty - 02-19-2006 I will sell you yours back if you want the pro parts... My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-19-2006 Hehehe nope...I have like $3 left literally. My New LSP! - FreeRideFrosty - 02-19-2006 I'm not happy with it at all... My New LSP! - kevinF - 02-19-2006 FreeRideJunkie Wrote:I'm not happy with it at all... then why did you leave good feedback for him? My New LSP! - FreeRideFrosty - 02-19-2006 I left it before I looked it over real well because the initial deal went well. The steering is effed up and it has a majorly bent shock shaft as well as a broken wing... after I asked him about it he said "oh yeah the steering did feel a little weird" well thanks for telling me. The wrong hub carriers were on... a whole bunch of chit... And as you can see he already spent all of the money, including the part I am paying him this thursday... :-( My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-19-2006 No Dan, I didn't spend the money you're paying me this Thursday, my parents owed me money for babysitting and that combined with the money I had covered the truck. I thought the steering would just be a screw too tight or something, and we sort of solved the problem already, and you're getting the parts that should fix it when we meet up again. And replacement shock shafts are in the bag that is with you---you already know this. If you want me to provide oil or something....Just lemme know cause you said you needed some. My New LSP! - FreeRideFrosty - 02-19-2006 The steering parts are not the problem. There is no way switching from a king headz part to a stock one will make it any better... plus that doesn't fix the bent CVD either... My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-19-2006 No, I mean the hubs or whatever...The plastic part that was flexing or something...If you want me to unbend the barely bent cvd I will. My New LSP! - FreeRideFrosty - 02-19-2006 Forget it man... I can see that we are not going to get anywhere... My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-19-2006 No, I'm serious...I want you to be satisfied with it. I'll do what I can to try and help....If you need oil, I'll give you some. I'm watching a CVD for it on ebay now, and hope to pick it up cheap, otherwise there's one for $14 there. I'm not sure about the steering, mabye somebody else here with good knowledge of the truck will know what's up? My New LSP! - FreeRideFrosty - 02-19-2006 Allright man... that's cool. What weight shock oil do you have?? Although I should get some anyway... My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-19-2006 I think I have some 55wt oil laying around that I use on my revo shocks.... My New LSP! - rocco79 - 02-19-2006 Dan.... seriously, shock oil is like 5 bucks and lsp shocks hold alot. Go buy some 60 and 70 wt My New LSP! - cemeb4dk - 02-19-2006 Sounds like a deal gone bad, and some one screwed someone and someone didnt look the truck over well. Sound sliek your both to blame..... Dan should of figured when he bought it and tried to sell it right away and then buy another one immediately.... Thnks that make you go HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM My New LSP! - too fast - 02-19-2006  My New LSP! - snakebite46 - 02-19-2006 Yeah no kidding. Deals gone bad. My New LSP! - Ponch - 02-19-2006 I did that because I knew I wouldn't have the money to get that one running. So I wanted a RTR one. My New LSP! - cemeb4dk - 02-19-2006 it doesnt say it has a center diff.... Sounds like it has a spook still |
