I took my original JR one in when I was looking for one, and made sure they were the same polarity. Perfect fit, and for the price, you could pick up a couple for the same price as the "JR" brand. You may have to buy a new cover from the Hobby shop though... You could try to call horizon, and tell them the clip part wore down, and doesn't hold the cover on. They MIGHT send you one. I have had Great results in the past with calling them for replacements.
