Can someone fairly good at tuning T-maxxes, maybe meet me somewhere and help me tune mine, because I finally got it running with the pullstart, but now the tuing is horrible, and it seems no matter what I do I make it even worse, so I don't want to ruin the engine trying to tune the thing the wrong way. Let me know where and when if you can.

what is it doing, maybe someone can help you here if it is simple

it is bogging down somewhat when I hit the gas, so I figured it was running to rich, so I leaned it out some and it was still doing that no matter how lean I went, or how rich.

take the motor off and spin the clutch bell----if it doesnt spin freely at all then thats your problem most likely. I had the same problem

Does it Bog briefly, then pick up, if so, it is probably the Low speed needle. Try to lean the Low speed a little, and see if that helps.

Another way to check the LSN, is to pinch off the fuel line about 1 inch from where it enters the carb. Count the seconds till the engine dies. The RPM's should raise slightly, and the engine die around 3 seconds. If it dies under 3 seconds, the LSN is too lean. If it stays running much more than 4 seconds, LSN is too rich. From there, you should be able to run the engine up to temp, and check your High Speed settings.

I know some people don't like the "pinch test", but I have had good results. It helps get the engine in a decent running tune, so it is easier to fine tune.

yep I talked to traxxas junkee over aim(a couple hours ago), and it was the low speed, not sure if it is fixed yet, because when I went to go do it, I realized my glow igniter was pretty much dead, so it is charging overnight, so I will find out tomorrow.

i just had him put the low speed to facotry settings, he said that if he leans the idle it starts creeping forward, and if he richens it, it dies.
