Mwnx Midwest Nitro Cross Series - GWPHOENIX - 04-03-2006 update Monday, April 3 Last night, Ed at Trackside Hobby in Sturtevant Wisconsin signed on for this years points series. Trackside is donating discount cards for Nitro and Electric class racers. 1st place winners in the three nitro classes will receive a "buy one quart, get one quart free" good for Nitro fuel in stock at the store. Winner of the Electric class every week will receive similar discounts on electrical merchandise. In addition, they are donating a Team Associated RC18 to the overall series champion of the Electric Class. See all the details HERE. Thursday, March 30 This morning, the Ruth and Lance at Rat Race Lounge signed on as a Titanium level series sponsor. They are donating $300 which is basically putting the t-shirt orders at the top of my priority list. I have visited three of the four main screen printers in town, and later today I hope to meet with the fourth. Also, I received word yesterday from Thomas at Nitro Farm that we will have to reschedule our 10th Round race to Saturday, September 16. I will be updating the calendar later today. Tuesday, March 28 Last night, Bill Van Kirk and His And Hers Hobbies signed on as a Titanium level series sponsor. Bill is donating a brand new Jammin X1 CRT Truck to the cause! Not only that, but Bill has volunteered for us to use his shop as the site for the Points Banquet at the end of the season. That date is set tentatively for Friday October 13th. Also, Alan Fanke has donated $300 on the behalf of Kenosha Tool & Engineering and Batten Manufacturing. This officially gets us over the financial hump that we needed to cross! I'll be ordering t-shirts and banners soon! Friday, March |
