I need a new engine for my revo. I don't know what to go with a traxxas 3.3 or O.S. .18 tm. Any advice would be nice thanks!

The TM's have been known to take a crap around the 3-4 gallon mark. It's happened to many of us here, myself included. I'd say go with the 3.3.

link doesn't work Joe, says we need to login.

I say 3.3 as far as the motors go.

I think the TZ problem has pretty much been solved by the RD Racing spacer. I doubt that anyone will get any more life out of a 3.3 but time will tell.

I would get the 3.3. Its got the same if not more power then the .18's and your engine depending on your tune should be able to get a lot more then the os's. 3.3 is only 135 with the engine exchange and just bolts right up.

cool thanks for the fast responses, and the advice!

I vote for the 3.3 too.

Between the two you listed, I would go 3.3 just on cost alone! All the other good stuff comes as a bonus.

or if someone has any other engines that are good for the revo. That can fit with little modifications
