I need some help with my computer. My laptop hard drive crashed and it is kinda old so I'm not going to bother getting another hardrive for it, is there anyway I can take the RAM out of it and put it in my desktop computer? The laptop is a Compaq/HP and the destop is a Gateway.

no they use different ram, laptop ram is smaller in size, but the answer is no.
