Wanted: Button for .26 engine sportwerks/dynamite - cemeb4dk - 06-30-2006 If you have a local machine shop they shoudl be able to re tap it for you. Back in the day with my savage 21 I stripped the threads, and the shop here re taped it. Just bring a glow plug wiht you so they no the size orwhatever they need to get it the right size. Wanted: Button for .26 engine sportwerks/dynamite - 99eclipsegsxtt - 06-30-2006 If the hobbyshop was to re-tap it they would have to put a heli-coil in it. I dont know how good that would hold compression though... or the glow plug hole would have to be tig welded shut again with aluminum then re-tapped( pain in the A**) I have a button for a Mach .26 if you are interested.
