New Body and First Attempt At Airbrushing - UE-Maxx - 07-09-2006 I started this body on Friday and finished it today. It is not the greatest, but now I know what I need to work on and what to do next time. I am terrible at cutting straight lines. New Body and First Attempt At Airbrushing - Ponch - 07-09-2006 Cool. Looks nice, I like the CF. Next time, use a border between the white and yellow. It'll make the colors pop more, I learned that after doing it between those two colors. New Body and First Attempt At Airbrushing - UE-Maxx - 07-09-2006 I planned on doing a pearl red pinstripe around the yellow, but it didn't work out too well. I guess I didn't cut through the mask enough and when I went to peel just the area where the pinstripe would be, I started to pull the yellow area too. New Body and First Attempt At Airbrushing - Ponch - 07-09-2006 Ahh... Gotcha. I've learned the importance of a good fresh blade, on the last body I did the same thing happened, but on this one that I just did I used a fresh blade and had 0 problems. Oh well. Your new buggy body still looks cool. New Body and First Attempt At Airbrushing - UE-Maxx - 07-09-2006 Thanks, I think I know what I want to do for the next one, already. New Body and First Attempt At Airbrushing - UE-Maxx - 07-09-2006 The paint really isn't that big of a deal, but it is the bodies at $25. I am going to paint my brother a Mini-t body first, but I think I am going buy another body on my next a-main order, which might be tomorrow. New Body and First Attempt At Airbrushing - Ponch - 07-09-2006 Yeah paint is relatively inexpensive, it's the body like you said. I got lucky and got mine for $20 shipped on ebay. They have Mini T bodies CHEAP, like $3 each. They used to have them for $2. That is where I got 10 of them for practice! Be warned, though...masking and cutting out designs inside a smaller body is harder than on a large shell. But you do use less materials (paint and LMF) !! Have fun!
