Tire compound - Ponch - 07-15-2006 What's the difference between M2, M3, and XTR??? I see Crimefighters in all of those and was wondering what is the best compound for the track. Thanks! Tire compound - rocco79 - 07-15-2006 Mikey wanna chime in??? LOL!! I had a proline driver tell me the differnce at rd 2. Hope i get this right.... M3- super soft (feels like indoor rubber) M2- Med/soft ( the compound all truck tires are made in and what you want in 1/8) XTR- Basher tire level of wear... Let mikey C. Double check my work before you quote me though. Tire compound - Ponch - 07-15-2006 Alright, cool. Sounds like I'll be ordering some m2 CF's and wabashes soon. Tire compound - rocco79 - 07-15-2006 Jesus man! LOL!!!! I said wait for mike! LOL!! I wanna be sure i told you the right thing. ( Im sure i did, but man!) Tire compound - Ponch - 07-15-2006 Soon as in mabye a week lol... Not like I'm off on amain right now lol. Tire compound - rocco79 - 07-15-2006 oh... ok. Tire compound - too fast - 07-15-2006 Pro-Line 1/8th scale buggy tires are generally available in M3, M2 and XTR compounds. The XTR compound is the hardest compound and will provide the longest tire life and works best on hard packed, dry tracks with high traction. If the track is wetter or less hard packed, the M2 compound tires will provide better grip with decent wear, but will generally wear faster than XTR compound tires. The new M3 compound is super soft and designed for situations where you need maximum grip Tire compound - rocco79 - 07-15-2006 now thats some good "click and paste" work! Thanks too fast! Tire compound - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-15-2006 M3 is good for blue groove, but dont plan on ur tires lasting long, in most cases, however i did run M3 crimes for 3 quals with literally no wear at JCP. I rarely find a case to use XTR its super hard and really isnt anywhere to use them. I would get a set of M2 crimes and a set of M2 bowties for LH if thats the only place ur gonna race, if u race pro series, that means no water so the tires are gonna take a serious beating Tire compound - rocco79 - 07-15-2006 Thanks mike! Tire compound - UE-Maxx - 07-15-2006 What's a good foam for buggy? Tire compound - rocco79 - 07-15-2006 stock.... unless its the new PL moulded foam... Then you want to use a double sided tape to keep the foam from bunching up after it break... Tire compound - Ponch - 07-15-2006 rocco79 Wrote:stock.... unless its the new PL moulded foam... Then you want to use a double sided tape to keep the foam from bunching up after it break... What happens to the new pl molded foams? I was looking at getting some but if they suck... Tire compound - UE-Maxx - 07-15-2006 Are you talking about the greys? Revo2k, I guess they break and if you tape them it will keep them together and in one spot. Tire compound - rocco79 - 07-15-2006  What he said up there ^^^ Tire compound - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-15-2006 u take those molded foams, rip them in small pieces and use it to pack ur receiver box with, the rest u start on fire.....I would run the stock foams, u can prolly send the mouldeds into proline and have them switched out, or I would liek to try the new ofna molded foams. Tire compound - snakebite46 - 07-15-2006 Pro-line molded just seem way too soft to me. I mounted them up on my inside jobs....too soft and man they feel like their gonna rip.
