What monster truck - mazur50 - 09-05-2006 What monster truck to get. I would like to race it and just mess around. Revo 3.3 or the savage. or any others. What monster truck - Sh1nn3r - 09-05-2006 Revo What monster truck - Michowski - 09-05-2006 Revo 3.3 for sure. Best all around do anything truck What monster truck - mazur50 - 09-05-2006 does anyone race them and what are the mods that should be done. What monster truck - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 09-05-2006 TNX, or Revo. What monster truck - Michowski - 09-05-2006 not to many mods to get the revo to be a top contender on the track. Just the basics like better servo's and radio, tires, couple mods to the truck itself like an FOC kit. After that just getting a setup you like. What monster truck - kevinF - 09-05-2006 revo 3.3......definately get a better radio, get bowtie MT's, get the center diff, rear brake kit, and a set up that you like and your all set What monster truck - Mr. Tune - 09-05-2006 Get a revo. What monster truck - mazur50 - 09-05-2006 WHat is the FOC kit. What monster truck - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 09-05-2006 Forward Only Conversion, to eliminate the reverse gears and servo. What monster truck - mazur50 - 09-05-2006 Why would you want to do that. it is good for when your just mess around right. What monster truck - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 09-05-2006 Racers who have to reduce weight. I keep reverse in mine for bashing. You just can't use reverse during a race. Same goes for the EZ Start system. Remove it frees up a little power from the motor, and makes the truck lighter. What monster truck - Michowski - 09-05-2006 you cant use reverse at a track. Even if you could it would be a waste of time because a marshal would get to your truck before you could get going again after getting out of reverse. Its better to just remove it and be done with it. Plus the reverse in the revo is really week. They strip out very easily so to get rid of the headache most people just get rid of it What monster truck - mazur50 - 09-05-2006 Do you guys have any links to mods. or other things that i can take a look at. What monster truck - Michowski - 09-05-2006 http://www.traxxas.com/support/index.php?action=artikel&cat=143&id=482 http://www.traxxas.com/support/index.php?action=artikel&cat=143&id=472&artlang=en http://www.traxxas.com/support/index.php?action=artikel&cat=143&id=483&artlang=en What monster truck - mazur50 - 09-05-2006 thanks for the links keep them coming. What monster truck - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 09-05-2006 And read the Geneal Revo Discussion Thread here. What monster truck - Traxxas_Junkee - 09-05-2006 Revo. What monster truck - Ponch - 09-05-2006 Yeah and reverse isn't really that important. I had a t-maxx and rarely used it (or mainly it never worked) and when I got my savage I didn't even notice it was gone. I would probably leave it in until you strip it out, so you have some worry-free running time, and by the time it quits on you, you'll have enough experience to not necessarily need reverse. Oh and my vote is revo lol What monster truck - Tex - 09-06-2006 Revo 3.3 What monster truck - Racin' Ranger1 - 09-07-2006 revo What monster truck - SLOW REVO - 09-14-2006 Muggy 4WD RTR w/XR2i & 427 The Ultimate Fusion of Design, Performance and Engineering.
