17mm MT Wheel/Tire blowout!!!! - cemeb4dk - 10-30-2006 I have 3 sets of tires for sale: I. 1 set of 4 Brand New bow ties (original version) with new Racers Edge foams on new yellow CRT wheels, with a tribal design wheel stickers. The wheel is trimmed on the inner bead and glued to the inside of the bead (inner and outer side) with the sidewall glued down also. This gives the bowtie a nice narrow stance, kinda what the new bowties mtr do.............$45 II. 1 set 4 of Crimefighters on white stock Kyopsho ST-r wheels, with the inside inner bead trimmed. Racers edge foams in these also. Have limited run time on them maybe 8 tanks or so...............$30 III. 1 set of 4 Crimefighters on white CRT wheels with max speed wheel stickers on them. These also have Racers edge foams in them, These are used also but have tons of life yet maybe 10-15 tanks........$30 There is nothing wrong with any of these sets, I am just replacing with all indoor tires and a few sets of MTR's. These prices do not include shipping, if someone wants all 3 sets I will ship for free. Pick up is always an option..... 17mm MT Wheel/Tire blowout!!!! - mikeh - 10-30-2006 What racing conditions are the crimefighters good for? Will those wheels fit the TTR ST-1? 17mm MT Wheel/Tire blowout!!!! - cemeb4dk - 10-30-2006 I believe the ttr is the same offset as the CRT. So yes they would fit. Even if the TTR is the kyosho offset it will make your truck slightly narrower which will help with turn in. Maybe Czech, Dave or casketman can confirm TTR offset. I used the crimefighters at Leisure HOurs outdoor, I have also used them indoor there last year. 17mm MT Wheel/Tire blowout!!!! - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 10-30-2006 I would have to confirm dimensions, but I believe the CRT wheels have 28mm added offset (wider track) that stock. The CF's I used on the Revo were good for the 2.5 motor indoors, but I have to believe a more powerful motor wouldn't get hooked up as well as perhaps Boas? I haven't been indoors on the clay in quite a while, but am using boas as a starting point when I do. CF's are suppoes to be great outdoors on slightly looser dirt. 17mm MT Wheel/Tire blowout!!!! - cemeb4dk - 10-30-2006 Yes CRt have the 28mm offset. I thought ttr ones did also, but for some reason Amain does not carry the ttr dish wheels anymore to confirm this. Either way they will work on your truck. I would just go with a set that has the inner bead trimmed off to make it a more narrow carcass. 17mm MT Wheel/Tire blowout!!!! - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 10-30-2006 OK, the backspacing on the stock spoked TTR wheel measures 42mm. The Ofna wheel measures 29mm. A difference of 13mm. So overall your track width will increase about 26mm (an inch roughly) over stock wheels. 17mm MT Wheel/Tire blowout!!!! - mikeh - 10-30-2006 Thanks for the info! I think I'm going to look for a set of Boas though, since people seem to like them for the indoor track. 17mm MT Wheel/Tire blowout!!!! - Casketman - 10-30-2006 The bowties will do well too. I saw a good amount of people running them this past weekend at the classic. 17mm MT Wheel/Tire blowout!!!! - cemeb4dk - 10-31-2006 man no one wants to steal some tires form me I guess... 17mm MT Wheel/Tire blowout!!!! - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 10-31-2006 George, if I hadn't just bought the boas from Brian I would have taken one of those CF sets. Maybe in the next month or two? 17mm MT Wheel/Tire blowout!!!! - cemeb4dk - 10-31-2006 sets 2 and 3 sold!!!! |
