Getting into racing - motoxer4life - 11-26-2006 Im getting into racing and i dont really know alot about it. I am getting a jammin x1 rtr for christmas and a jammin x1 crt (kit version) for my birthday. I was just looking through threads and i heard people talking about putting loctite on every single screw, would i have to do that on the kit and on the rtr? And also does anyone else have any other tips for me? Thanks. Getting into racing - kevinF - 11-26-2006 no, you dont need to put locktight on everything.....only aluminum parts. dont put locktight into plastic parts. nick let me know when you can go to the track with your jammin and ill help you out with racing and everything Getting into racing - Biodragen - 11-26-2006 In both cases The kit--use blue Loc-Tight on all metal srews that fasten to metal parts The RTR--it would be a good idea to go through and use on all metal to metal screwed parts. You should not have too much to do unless you hop it up. Most is into plastic and or uses nylon coated nuts. |
