need a painter - rusty savage - 12-03-2006 hey all, i need some one who paints car (1:1) that can do a quick project for me. I work at sega gameworks and made an upgrade for a game. we have some air hockey tables that had these super crappy plastic leg covers that would be broken after a busy weekend. I got tired of having to order legs every week! so i made some steel ones! its 1/8" thick and for all four corners id say its about the same coverage it would take to do the hood of a car. I want to prime and paint and clear coat the legs. i need it kind of quick so please respond if you or someone you know is intrested. thanks!! ps if any one wants to see the legs come by gameworks its in the streets of woodfield next to the theater. they are pretty pimp!! need a painter - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 12-03-2006 When not just rattle-can them? Or do they need to be a specific color? need a painter - rusty savage - 12-03-2006 im looking for better adheasion. these things take a beating and i think auto paint would hold up better. im looking for them to be red. need a painter - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 12-03-2006 If you could find a shop to shoot them with Imron. It's polyurethane aircraft paint. Tougher than nails, but very nasty to work with. Some truck painting shops use it for 18 wheeler trucks. need a painter - squirrel - 12-03-2006 If your looking for them to be durable then have it powdercoated. It's way stronger than regular paint. need a painter - rusty savage - 12-03-2006 anyone know of a local place at a decent price with quick turn around? need a painter - Jeepguy - 12-04-2006 Use POR 15 that stuff is great! need a painter - rusty savage - 12-04-2006 what is that? need a painter - Jeepguy - 12-06-2006 Its tuff stuff it will turn cardboard into floor tile. What is does is bonds to the steel preventing rust, knicks, scraches, and chipping. I've seen it used on bumpers for Jeeps and at work we used it to coat the water tank of our engine. I think you can get it at harbor freight. |
