Digital Servo/Computer Radio - JTak77 - 01-07-2007 Is is mandatory that you use a Computer Radio (ie; M11, Nomadio Sensor, ect) if you run a digital servo, to keep the servo from frying or tearing up. (I have been reading some other stuff out there.) I don't know anything about them other than they are fast, and heavy-duty. Will the Spektrum DX 2.0 work just fine running a digital servo, as far as all the neccessary adjustments are concerned? Any info on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Digital Servo/Computer Radio - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 01-07-2007 yea it should be fine to run digitial servos Digital Servo/Computer Radio - FreeRideFrosty - 01-07-2007 You should be fine. Digital servos will drain a little more power, but have better holding power. I ran a digita steering servo with a JR XR2 and never had a problem. Digital Servo/Computer Radio - UE-Maxx - 01-07-2007 On the topic of digital servos, how much more power do they drain compared to analog and what is the overall advantage, if any, running digital servos? Digital Servo/Computer Radio - FreeRideFrosty - 01-07-2007 I didn't notice any big difference. I was using a cheap rx pack (stock revo one) and it was still fine for a race day. I would charge it before the mains just to be sure though. It was a JR servo and it held VERY well.... now I haven't noticed any ill effects of running an analog servo now though. |
