Iv always been facinated by that stuff but not sure what im getting into as far as work hours and pay. Any input on this would be great. Repo man - rocco79 - 01-26-2007 Hmmm... I think a bullet proof vest might be a wise investment. Repo man - FreeRideFrosty - 01-26-2007 There is a guy on chitownracing who is one. His name is chris.... either that or hitman or something is his screen name. I was fascinated by it but don't think I would be able to do it.... It was 90 bucks a car for him and 40 for cars that people gave up. After He got a shot gun pulled to his head he never came back. Repo man - Traxxas_Junkee - 01-26-2007 I think you should be allowed to carry a gun with you but I dunno. At least you shouldn't have to get out of the truck and hook it up, hopefully the truck has an eagle claw system on it. Repo man - Hoobajoob - 01-26-2007 how ironic would that be... the repo mans cars gets repoed! Repo man - Chuck Norris - 01-26-2007 Hoobajoob Wrote:how ironic would that be... the repo mans cars gets repoed! That wouldn't happen because he traded my dad cars so If he missed a month it would be covered but he would owe my dad more Repo man - satoch - 01-26-2007 Hoobajoob Wrote:how ironic would that be... the repo mans cars gets repoed! He could repo his own car and get the $90. Then use that to get a monthly bus pass. :p: Repo man - Hoobajoob - 01-26-2007 what locations did he work in? who did he work for? Repo man - Chuck Norris - 01-26-2007 Hoobajoob Wrote:what locations did he work in? who did he work for?i don't remember what company. But he worked in the west side of chicago Repo man - Hoobajoob - 01-26-2007 but he liked it overall? Repo man - Chuck Norris - 01-26-2007 Hoobajoob Wrote:but he liked it overall?Yeah, besides the gun part. One time he came out the the truck with his bullet proof vest on and the guy said "Oh look at you wimp" So he took it off the guy then said "Oh look a tough guy" Repo man - Hoobajoob - 01-26-2007 yeah i would imagine there are a ton of tough talkers. Cant be to happy when your stuff is being taken. was all his work towing? Repo man - Chuck Norris - 01-26-2007 Hoobajoob Wrote:yeah i would imagine there are a ton of tough talkers. I dont understand why there isnt two people on the job at all times? I dont understand why there isnt two people on the job at all times?when my brother did it he was only alone like 4 times it sucks to have 2 people because then they had to split the money Repo man - Hoobajoob - 01-26-2007 yeah i can see that. but if you have two people you would think you could recover things quicker so your productiveness(if thats a word) would be higher. so if you alone and do 4 cars at $100 thats four hundred in say 8 hours now if you have 2 you could maybe say do 8 in 8 hours. now you still made the same amout in 8 hours both split the work load so you only did 4 a piece and your company recovered in one day what they would normally do in two. i know its not that simple but its just an example senario. Plus what kind of price do you put on your safety? id take a few less$ or have to do a bit more work if i knew id be safer. |
