What is the dia. of the RTR flywheel?? Starter box Question ? - SLOW REVO - 01-30-2007 Im not sure i will have to check. you can take the wheel out of the box.And push it tight to the chassis . And it still dont hit the flywheel Starter box Question ? - Ponch - 01-30-2007 Sounds like you need to bevel the chassis, what you do is take a file and make a 45* cut in the flywheel opening at the 2 far opposite ends. Starter box Question ? - son1cn - 01-31-2007 i had to really file my chassis, and then i found that the ofna one everyone else is using (10245) doesn't work, so i got a super starter king and have no trouble what so ever. i'll post pics tonight if i remember Starter box Question ? - SLOW REVO - 01-31-2007 MX_KEVIN Wrote:Most RTR's have taller motor mounts to make room for the starter stuff on the back of the motor. Id check to see if RTR and kit use the same mounts...Thanks kevin, i looked up the part #'s and they are different. im going to order mounts for the kit, and see if that works. Thanks again Starter box Question ? - son1cn - 01-31-2007 oh yeah, when you get the new mount you might have to drill out the screws in the old one, because i think they might locktight those, and you obviously will need to buy a backplate for the motor because the starter backplate hits with the kit motor mount, thats why the rtr one is taller. Starter box Question ? - SLOW REVO - 01-31-2007 thanks ordered new mounts and motor. |
