Chargers- what do you use? - pwnzor - 01-31-2007

I am looking for a AC/DC charger, What are you guys using for reciever packs, bump box batts, and igniters? I want a charger that will do them all simultaneously....such as the Dynamite Nitro Field Charger, but its DC.....that may be the ticket, just to get a converter and run DC charger.....Just curious what you racers are using for all your batts in your nitro rig at the track......heres the Dynamite charger I'm talking about, plz share your thoughts and what is in your current rig Wink

I use a duratrax ice.

Chargers- what do you use? - Traxxas_Junkee - 01-31-2007

I have a duratrax Pirhana. It won't do them all at the same time, but if you charge everything the night before you should be good. Only thing I top off at the track is the reciever pack, igniter should have no problem lasting all day unless you are having engine trouble.

piranaha is a great bang for you buck, I got one of those horizon triton things and a power supply to do lipos. I think JT has the charger that will do 2 packs at a time

I use a cheapy dynamite charger, like $40....does what I need it to so I'm fine although I'd like a charger with a discharger built in so i could cycle packs that may have been sitting a while.

Dan, it comes with the adapter to charge stick packs, that is if you still have the Tamiya style connector. The receiver pack one you can make out of a servo extension or you can buy one.

Chargers- what do you use? - Tex - 02-01-2007

Dan if you have a current glow starter charger, cut the end off and make your own adapter.

Chargers- what do you use? - Ponch - 02-01-2007

Yeah for hump packs get a 12" sevo extension or however long you want it, cut off the not needed end, strip about 1/4-1/2" of the end of the wire so you have exposed the wire, and slap some solder on them (don't join them, just put some solder so they don't fray)

Chargers- what do you use? - Racin' Ranger1 - 02-01-2007

prophet plus, duratrax intellipeak, and the regular igniter charger.

Chargers- what do you use? - FreeRideFrosty - 02-01-2007

Anyone have a servo extension or broken glow plug charger they need to get rid of??

Chargers- what do you use? - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 02-01-2007
