Lipo pack Q... - Ponch - 07-08-2007 Czech-it-Out Graphics Wrote:no dont bother Why? Just not a reputable brand or are the specs on it crappy? Lipo pack Q... - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-08-2007 take it from me having tried the lipo game, more of a pain in the ass than they are worth, gotta run a regulator if its going in your car, they do last longer but once they dump you are done. Just adds a whole nother variable of things that can go wrong. If you run 2600's you will get the same life anyway Lipo pack Q... - Ponch - 07-08-2007 Mike this is going in a tc3...not radio/buggy....Or does the same apply? You said 2600's which leads me to think that you were talking about radio or receiver batts.... Lipo pack Q... - Traxxas_Junkee - 07-08-2007 He's not talking about a receiver pack. Lipo pack Q... - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-08-2007 i thought it was for offroad stuff. If you are going to be using it for an electric car then i think itll be fine, I hear Lipo's are the wave of the future in electric. But for offroad use dont bother Lipo pack Q... - Ponch - 07-08-2007 Cool. I'll start saving then... Lipo pack Q... - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-08-2007 why did u get a tc3 why not a NTC3 or 4? Lipo pack Q... - Racin' Ranger1 - 07-08-2007 because he got rid of his pede for it Lipo pack Q... - Racin' Ranger1 - 07-08-2007 and matt i have a TC3 body for you. its a nitro one but you can have it Lipo pack Q... - Ponch - 07-08-2007 Thanks, but it'll be way too wide(I think, I'll try it though)...(electric=190mm wide, nitro=200mm wide). Lipo pack Q... - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-08-2007 thats the length dummy Lipo pack Q... - Ponch - 07-08-2007 Hey dummy, it's the width; http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBGE0&P=ML http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGCZ5&P=ML http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXNKR8&P=ML Lipo pack Q... - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-08-2007 hmmm could i be wrong? lol Lipo pack Q... - Ponch - 07-08-2007 :eek::eek: Lipo pack Q... - blktransam - 07-09-2007 whats so wrong wit lipos in the rec, on buggy? All I read is u flamming them...I have had no prbs with mine but i dont run a reg....I lovce it I can go over 2 weeks on a charge and it puts my servos on roids... Lipo pack Q... - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-09-2007 well then ur lucky, ive seen more people with problems that go back to nimh then i have seen have success with them. Look what happened to maifield leading the nats by a lap had a regulator fuck up on him. I dont need that extra element of some shit to go wrong. Do you race or just bash? i dont see how ur servos can last very long at at all not to mention ur receiver with that much juice being pounded through them on a regular basis Lipo pack Q... - blktransam - 07-09-2007 race only....well started end of last yr anyways, run spektrum module (sr3000) reciever...and 9000t servos for the past 8 mths with not one issue, prb 6 other "local" guys run them as well with no issues.
