I had a clutchbell and spur destroyed on the 8ight as I was about to bump to the B. Oh well, that's racing.
And BTW, I'm still running that Go Tech 5 port I bought last year. It has over 6 gallons on it now and still rips. Best $187 I ever spent.

Chad, give the car more time and try different stuff....IMO when you weren't throttle happy and kept it smotth it looked faster than the Mugen..
I've driven K's that handled way different on the same day/same track so it's really all in the setup...It's not the brand in this case, it's setup and YOU

In this case Gabe I think its the car, I remember when i had the st-r the rear end was the biggest problem for me swinging around. There have been alot of discussion on the grid about the rear end being really lose and people even trying to put 30k diff oil in there. Mugen is a different beast the rear end is glued and you can drive it really hard you don't have to baby it around a corner.

I've driven K's that were DIALED......so easy to drive
I've also driven Mugen's in the same boat...........yet last time I drove a MOO it was pushing like a bulldozer...........

all cars need setup work to be good, nothing out of the box is dialed everywhere. chad just needs to stick with one make of car for a whole year and when he gets fast enough that the car is holding him back, make a change.

for your info, i had my moos for a year...exactly. when i drove a new strr and took a second or so off my lap times i wanted to change, and i like to keep buggy and truggy the same so i changed that too. I agree Tex I think it will be ok if i just settle down and learn to drive it.
