I am getting a great deal on a refurb direct from the manufacturer. My car is black, as is most of the engine compartment. Do I go with a black one and keep everything clean and quiet, or a nice polished one?? Thats not the reason it is a diverter valve instead. VW uses a diverter valve on their turbo cars because it essentially doesn't waste air. Why vent to the atmosphere when you can put it back in the intake? And black it is. That's what I was thinking as well.
