Pipe Hangar - J-Dub - 01-23-2008 anybody know where I can get a pipe-hangar for a REVO THS pipe? somehow I lost it before I could install it one day... Pipe Hangar - Racin' Ranger1 - 01-24-2008 is it just like the stock hanger but a taller piece that goes straight up? Pipe Hangar - J-Dub - 01-24-2008 Thinner than the stock hangar. and yeah kinda, I was bending it at the track that night you were there but I lost it. Lol. Pipe Hangar - Tex - 01-24-2008 cut a metal clothes hanger and bend it into shape. If that's too thick, they have all different size piano wire at LH. Pipe Hangar - Racin' Ranger1 - 01-24-2008 i got one for ya but idk when im gonna be at the track next Pipe Hangar - J-Dub - 01-24-2008 Im not going until its above at least 30 degrees. Which might be awhile as well. Lol Pipe Hangar - motoxer4life - 01-24-2008 Dont go, we went racing sunday when it was -4, i broke both front right arms, i was winning the bmain too. Pipe Hangar - J-Dub - 01-24-2008 its so cold I wouldnt want to run the engine, much less worry about breakage... as fast as they cool off in the cold, you're running the risk of running TOO cold but thats just my opinion. Pipe Hangar - motoxer4life - 01-24-2008 Mine was running at 240 w/ a hot plug Pipe Hangar - Thirdgen89GTA - 01-24-2008 You can also pick up some steel wire from the hobby shop and bend it to fit, then cut to length. Really easy to make a custom hanger that way. Easy to find in the plane/heli section. They use it for rudders/flaps/etc.. Pipe Hangar - J-Dub - 01-24-2008 I'll try that. Pipe Hangar - J-Dub - 01-24-2008 I can't believe you were running 240 in like -4 degree weather. Just doesnt make sense lol. Pipe Hangar - motoxer4life - 01-25-2008 Last Night it was at 260, with my bros engine, his is a lil newer but still basically the same. Pipe Hangar - J-Dub - 01-25-2008 Makes no sense... You'd have to go kinda lean to get it that hot. tuning to temps is sooo bad. Lol. think about it, aluminium conducts heat very well. Its like, what..maybe like 0 degrees out. plus the windchill effect of your car moving It just doesnt sound good. plus nitro starts to gel around 0. I just see no reason to be Rcing when its this cold. Haha, not trashing you just saying, can't be good for anything. Pipe Hangar - motoxer4life - 01-25-2008 Both the engines are running great. |
